  1. My advice...go see a therapist ...get your self esteem back.....move on and lead your own life to the full.....either with or without a partner. Good luck
  2. The roadster roof down looks ace. Roof up it still looks ok but not quite so stunning imho. I,ve owned both and the roadster handles the same but is heavier and it shows under acceleration. I,ve currently got a 420 turbo diesel m sport convertible as well as my HR coupe. No problems with space for a six footer in either car. However, the drive is completely different between each car . The Zed is less comfortable on a long run but far more responsive. The Beemer is a good comfortable cruiser and will use half as much fuel. It can shift in sport + mode but doesn't,t compare with Zed for thrill factor. To sum up. Buy the Zed for white knuckle driving and the Beemer for everyday journeys.
  3. I,ve got a Breitling for Bentley watch...still saving for the car !
  4. Nissan qashqai...voted best in class for the last three years by Whatcar.Five star rating.

I agree with you on this one...and yes it is probably a safety design.Mind you, the edge of the bonnet could be lethal in a direct front end strike.
  9. Congratulations Josh you finally made the choice.Look forward to seeing some more photos. I once owned the E46 M3 which was a pretty pokey machine....got bored after six months and went back to a 330 coupe which I found more every day . I,m sure you will thoroughly enjoy your new car and I,m very pleased you,re staying on the forum as your posts are always interesting.

Not sure which engine..s it,s running.would imagine the lesser of the two if you compare with the 430d. Wife's car ( 220d M sport ) will be as rapid with less weight. Nice Chunky shape too. I think the coupe is a bit bland looking...this folding hardtop version is more like it and especially on the 19 inch rims. Anyone tell me whether my Ray's would fit on the 220 as they,re redundant at the moment and shod with brand new MPSS tyres.?

Thanks Gareth Good to hear from you. Bit wider...longer and lower than the three coupe. Pretty much the same as the M4 in looks Turbo gives it 295 ft/ lbtorque so pretty rapid in sport mode + Only downside is the metal folding roof which adds a fair bit of weight over the standard hardtop coupe. Put some more detailed pictures up at the weekend as this one was found on Google from a BMW photo before I bought it.

Just acquired a 420 m.sport diesel for myself and a 220 m sport for the better half. The convertible is mine. Keeping the Zed and also my A 150 for commuting. A quick pic of the 4. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=bmw+420d+m+sport+vonvertible&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-gb&client=safari#imgdii=T-7uV-1frZngfM%3A%3Bgma2JLDKU7LWOM%3A%3Bgma2JLDKU7LWOM%3A&imgrc=gma2JLDKU7LWOM%3A
  16. No ..not XKR .....XJR....even more old mannish but superior to any of the Beemers imho
  17. Jag supercharged XJR . That,s class...probably too old mannish for you Josh ?
  18. Welcome from freezing Richmond ( North Yorkshire ) Falcon Performance are the guys for any work or servicing on your Zed,
  19. Too cheap and nasty for you Josh. Only decent American out there is the Corvette. Got to stay classy like your Zed.
  20. 2 .5 Dollars a GALLON in San Diego when I was there two weeks ago. That,s about £1.60.
  21. Not by the time you,ve modified it Josh ! Tried a Matt black Brabus 6.3 one last year...spun it 180 degrees getting out of the bl**dy garage forecourt.
  22. Can,t believe your selling but understand. Got my dibs on a Jag XJR I know so mine could go. Go for the porker
  23. Got my name on a 13 plate XJR 5.0 litre V8 supercharged from one of my suppliers. Will have about 26000 miles on when I get it next May. You wouldn't,believe how much value its lost over three years . To buy from the leasing company they only want £22 k !!! I know the supplier personally and he has the car professionally valeted every week. This has to be my final retirement car !
