  1. Thanks for the answers all taken on board, I think it will be the tunnel, spoke to a booking clerk and they say to mention to the locating marshal that you require the lower deck. They also quoted they don't want you to get stuck because that will b*gg*r up everyone behind you, enough said.

  2. I'm going on a trip around France Belgium and Holland, later this year, that's the good part, using either the euro tunnel or a ferry from Dover. I am worried about ground clearance getting on and off the ramps etc. My car by most standards has fairly liberal ground clearance of around 4 inches, or about 10 cm, under the front lip. What has been the experience from those who have used either way of this crossing and is there less of a problem on either of them? Thanks in advance for any advice.

  3. Thanks Chris I was thinking it had to be filled from the dipstick plug (silly me) assumed because the top plug is vented it wasn't to be used for filling, much easier now. Noticed that the price on the Vortech site for replacement oil is the same as the site you mentioned above.

I'm not sure but it looks that vortech have 45 deg and 50 deg replacement extension dipstick plugs.

  4. Looking good Chris, see you put that little blue elbow on, (the enigma part), I think you'll find the 3.12 pulley will smarten things up but yes as you say remap next. Just out of interest its a tight thing to fill up the unit with the oil do you have that issue. Any chance of a photo from the top looking down at the fill up brass bung if you know what I mean? Looking at using a funnel and tube to get mine in? Well done mate.

  5. Good turn out yesterday, thoroughly enjoyable lunch a special thanks to our fantastic organiser Hugh for a great meeting look forward to the next one. For those who were unable to get there you missed a good time. Lets keep it going I know there are few more around Lincoln who would have enjoyed this. Thanks all for the company, Jeff.

  6. Chris B is spot on, I also have the same set up as his The "D" is also known as a deep dish version and as you can see in his photo used on the back wheels wouldn't look right on the front, job done.
