  1. I believe the borla is a true dual exhaust system, whereas the one you have on your zed is just the back box. im sure someone will be here to confirm soon.

    True.

  2. When I purchased my car, I was told by the dealer that it was a Borla Exhaust system and whilst I have been going through this forum with a fine tooth comb, I came to realise that it isn't a Borla.

It is a Fujitsimo Giken exhaust. Not got a clue about it. Anybody able to tell me about it? A simple search revealed that an old member called Ming had one on their Zed. Apart from that I have no clue, so any help would be great if poss.

    Thanx

    Dips

  3. Have you been up there recently?

I know the hot rods and american muscle cars still do something late evening, but not sure what day it is.

If you are talking about Valley Park Croydon, then that'll be Sundays. There were about 200 cars there on that Thursday night. It was quite big!

  4. Ok, so I've just been out for a nice quiet drive (battery issues), and I decided to go through Valley Park in Croydon. I used to work in one of the stores there years ago and remember a car meet always taking place on Thursday nights. Back then it consisted of a load (20 or so) of idiots driving like nutters.

However tonight, the car park was completely rammed! Motorbikes there too. The police were present, making sure nothing dangerous happened. All the cars were just parked up and people chatting. I didn't expect this, so didn't stop and just drove back out again.

Has anybody ever been to these? Or does go? Would like to see/meet some other 350z owners and oggle their cars. I'm going to the Ace Cafe meet, but just curious about this one. Looked far more civil, that I could possibly consider parking my car without any fear that some idiot will crash into it as he flies around the corner at 30+mph.

  5. Just been out for an hour drive in her, and all is well. When I got back, I turned her on and off a few times and no problems. Meter read 12v from when key was put in to just as engine turned and it went to 14v.

Maybe it had to do with the recent short 6 mile round trips I've been doing to the train station. But then again, it suddenly hit me that maybe I was just being a muppet and didn't have my foot on the clutch. I dunno. Too tired then and really way too tired now.

Thanx for the helps peeps. If she does play up again (and I know that I have for certain put my foot on the clutch pedal), then I'll just post back in this thread.

  6. As your starting it does the needle go down towards the 8v bit? Try a multimeter whilst someone cranks it otherwise.

Is the starter running but its not firing or is the starter not going either?

Dunno how to tell if the starter is running or not. Will check the 8v bit in a sec and see what it does.
