Can you put my name down for the Saturday please, I'll drive down early morning and have a full day there before driving back, want to see the bloke regarding the dents and would love some tips from the pros as to best clean my car Not the best driver or the best 350z so hopefully won't get much stick from you guys but would love to show off my Azure roadster and see the stunners from the forums Do I need to PM a mod or is this ok for me to attend? Hey all As title says really..... Got a decent price on some Pirelli P0 tyres, my mate swears by them on his Astra VXR but I know the Zed is totally different!! Just wondering on views etc before buying Cheers.

does the boot matt fit the roadster or are they seperate fitting? ive added it to the watch list anyway cheers

Just wanna say thanks to all After about 25 goes I managed to rest the ECU! Waitin to get my mate to run a diagnostics test tomorrow to get the code and I'll post it up here for advice Once again thankyou very much lads!!

Am I still ok to take the car to work tomorrow? Gonna be a 30mile roundtrip but don't wanna do any extra damage I'll try get the code on my break when I get 10mins

not sure if this needed to be in technical or not so apologies if wrong the girlfriend drove the Z home from work tonight, so not speeding or caning it at all, ive come to park it up in the garage earlier and as im reversing it in the engine management light has appeared it came on steady so i parked her up and left it 5mins but still lit up steady when ignition is on looked in the handbook and it describes it as the Malfunction Light doesnt really give much info on what this could be or where to start, basically says to go to Nissan im no mechanic at all, dont know really anything about how to fix things, but wondered if anyone could shed any light on this as its got me a bit worried - only had my Z for almost 2months! ive checked under the engine and it was hot but nothing untoward i wouldnt have thought hopefully it isnt serious, was hoping to get some new alloys/tyres before the weather gets nice but if this turns out to be an expensive repair thanks in advance

What would happen if I trimmed my original one down, it's like the stubby but with a thin carbon fibre bit on Tempted to try it! If it messes up I'll have to buy an S2000 one I suppose Anyone tried cuttin one before!?

ive only had my Azure 350z roadster for about 6 weeks and fell out with the large aerial already had a quick check on eBay and found this, which i subsequently bought http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT it came on Saturday and after a wash i decided to fit it, but the aerial doesnt fit flush to the black plastic and as soon as you remove your hand from screwing it on you lose reception/signal ive emailed the bloke who i got it off and said hed send a replacement or give me my money back - but im reluctant to get another in case that doesnt work either - whats the chance id just been given a duff one and the next would be OK? would anyone reccommend a similar aerial that would work (im thinking of a shop now as eBay seems to be full of junk!)? another thought ive had is to cut the original one ive got down - would it work or just bugger it up!? thanks - any advice or tips on which to get would be good also after some number plates too, as the ones i have still have the garages names on them which is annoying me - doubtful of goin to eBay for em but its the cheapest place - wonder if halfords do any good ones? thankyou

having had the Zed for only 2 weeks im already thinking of a mod due to it being a roadster, i was thinking of changing the gearknob and leather suround into an Azure Blue so it stands out when we have the top down in the summer - this is what ive looked at so far: - - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLUE-LEATHER-GEAR ... 4aa5f221d0 - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-350Z-02-08 ... 45ef51663b anyone got any pics of their mods or others that are similar so i can get an idea of what it would look like? im not good at DIY in any shape or form, how hard is it to get the leather surround bits in place? i think the gearknob is simply a twist and unscrew fitting, although not certain? anyone think it would look a bit 'chavvy' with these mods from eBay? lads at work think im mad for contemplatin changing it! look forward to opinions/views and pics would be greatly appreciated thanks

hahaha, it was like a Zed roundabout this morning nearly missed yours, but the colour is soooo nice i had to look twice - missed my spot pullin out after seeing you last night i hid the keys from the mrs so i could take it this morning - just wish to roads were a bit clearer! working 9-5:30pm next week so may not see you for a bit.......

Focus is black, but covered in mud and dust! its gonna get a was this Sunday though ive just seen your For Sale ad - looks stunning inside and out - id have been tempted at that price too if i hadnt have bought mine! is the CR05 plate a personal one then? if you can afford to garage it mate, do it - you know youll regret selling the girlfriend has took the 350z to work last few days whilst ive been in the Focus - shes doin just under 18mpg drivin to Chesterfield!!!!! when i had it last week, i was doin nearly 26mpg - but you always get stuck behind a lorry on that stretch of road as youll know mate

hi mate ive got an Azure roadster was in the Focus when i flashed so you probably didnt even notice! ive seen yours a few times as i work at Wilkinsons Head Office, usually driving to work when im goin in about 8am only had the 350z for just shy of two weeks now but saw you before loads of times when i was drivin the shed to work! why you sellin mate? awesome car, love mine, wish id got it last summer! oh well, waitin now for the spring to arrive so i can have the roof down

... been after a 350z for what seems like ever, but finally picked up my 05 Azure Blue roadster on Saturday My God, what a car!! Lovin driving it already Had the top down yesterday, even though it was freezing!! Ill arrange for pics to be put up as soon as she is washed again at the weekend- picked her up Saturday and drove from preston back to Sheffield/Chesterfield and she is filthy already! Got a few noobie questions that im hoping you can all assist with: - - what petrol do you guys use to fill up? we put in standard unleaded to get her back initially but i need to fill up again after work and was wondering if anything was better/worse for it? - as it is a converible, did these not come with the bluetooth phone adapters as the controls are not on the steering wheel? is there a way of installing a phone adapter as per the others or is it not really worthwhile? - im anxious to get a stubby aerial, is there a particular better one that others or are they all universal? seen a few on eBay but prices vary, dont wanna get a cheap one and it be no good! - where the heated seat controls are on the arm-rest, there is a third button that is blanked off, any idea what this would be used for? - are there ay decent after-market sat-navs available for the main cubbyhole on the dash? think it would be nice to fill this as there are loads of other holes everywhere!! - finally, cleaning products - ive never waxed/polished a car before so advice on what/what not to get would be appreciated (as well as dos/donts when applying it)! my mate reccommended ***guard (sorry cant remember name) which he has had applied on his Audi S4, apparently rain just runs off it? As mentioned, ill try and get some pics up before the end of the week - need to sort out our garage first as we have discovered a leak and want to re-paint it all, but its hard getting it whilst working til 5pm as its ark when i get home - wont stop me having the roof off again tonight though Thanks for listening and expect more questions over the coming weeks
