  1. gorgeous car.... if i could stretch to that in a private sale (ie didnt have my own car to sell) i would really want that!.
  2. lol the universal car colour argument..... many "enthusiastic" discussions on the fiat coupe forum about the best car colour (which is clearly yellow ) personally i like the orange 350Z but the boss has taken that out of the equation. probably blue, black, red or yellow will be what i go for, unless i see a REALLY good gun metal bargain.
  3. ahh ok thanks. aside from looks does it alter the handling much? i do not mind the ones on the car above looks wise at least
  4. cheers guys showing my ignorance.... rays??? as for price, he has already said he can wiggle a touch. if i could get that 04 one for 9k i would defo be interested in that too. still looking on here for a localer private sale as well. ideally i like buying off forum users, esp when you can search the history of the car.
  5. Hi I am new here so hope am not breaking any rules (it is not talking about a fellow seller on here so i dont think so). i am seriously thinking about going up from cambs to yorkshire to have a look at this, and trading in my coupe. just curious if anyone here has already seen it, or perhaps it used to be a forum members and they got rid. i would hate to get up there and it not be what i wanted. any thoughts gratefully recieved cheers http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1589207.htm
  6. if only it wasnt grey/silver i would be v interested ..... a few more Q's as i may still be interested what was its last service (P1, P2 or P3 - i believe P3 is the biggie?) would you be interested in selling the plate separate as i have my own what condition is the interior in? the pic i can see on the ebay link looks fairly tidy, but want confirmation cheers, and good luck with the sale - incase i do not buy it... i already own 1 car i do not like the colour of, but everything else is great so am still tempted!. M.
  7. lol...... i may take you up on that (although my current car - when working correctly - isnt without its own fair share of smiles )
  8. thanks for the info.... i will be after a hardtop. Love a soft top with the roof down, but not a huge fan with it up, and in this country..........................
  9. Hi i currently own a fiat coupe 20VT+, which is my 2nd coupe, the 1st one which was a rock solid reliable yellow 1998 20VT which i got in 2003 but crashed in 07 (oops), and now a burgundy plus which has been.... well lets say not so reliable. I WAS saving up for a cerbera however if there is 1 thing my recent car issues have shown me, is i get way too stressed at an unreliable car to own a TVR, so i decided to go for something which is still fairly quick, but maybe built a bit more solidly than a tea bag hence i am here. The 350Z is highly regarded by many on the coupe owners forum when i asked about em there........ I have been looking on pistonheads, and it seems all the cars in my price bracket are silver or grey, and they just are not for me. (i already own a car i am not mad on the colour for so i will not make that mistake again). The colours i am looking for are either Azure blue, Black or yellow, but these seem to be more expensive.... or is that my imagination?. I know there will be a certain bias on this forum but is there anything other than the obvious i should look out for when buying (the fiat coupe is the cambelt change and a smoking turbo mostly - and back in the day when the car was worth something the red key.) I doubt i will post too much yet, just lurk around for a while and read up, but thought i should say hello. I hope to get 3.5k for my coupe when i fix the newest issue with it (turbo) and have 3.5k saved up, which leaves me realistically looking for another 3-4k to get maybe the car i would like - sadly i cant afford more. cheers M. PS can a <50post member BUY from the classifieds and just not sell, or do you have to have >50 posts to do anything there?. PPS I see imports go for a lot cheaper than UK cars generally....... Do they cost more to insure/repair (i have never bought an import before) . I know the spec can be different but i thought generally most we bought inline with UK spec on importing? cheers again
