  1. Bet there's been a substantial amount of detailing going on today!! Have a great time everyone who's attending, would have loved to go myself but unfortunately other commitments have put paid to that! Will be in the Shrewsbury/Chester area on business for most of the day so if see any zeds on route I'll give you a wave. Have lots of fun

  2. Bigger stronger faster? That's greig Valentino ain't it? He's a sterod junkie and all american bodybuilder hate him as he ruined it. I know a few guys who use steroids and they look amazing. I think there's a difference between using and abusing.

Mate, try and get a copy, its a good documentary about steroids and the false press surrounding them, the guy goes on a sort of quest to all sorts of doctors and politicians, scientists etc and tries to find any actual physical proof/studies/reports where steroids are bad for you. I think in the end he comes to the conclusion more folk die every year from death by peanuts than steroids.

Valentino is in it for about 5 minutes, but the guys a ****.

Ask any qualified medical practitioner their opinion on steroids, they will all give you the same answer and they surely cant all be wrong. In medicine the prescription of steroids is only considered as a last resort.

  3. Been on the weights for twenty plus years now and been at my optimum weight of seventeen stone five for the last five years or so. Your genetics will dictate that you can only develop your body to a certain dimension naturally, the only way to surpass that point is by the use of artificial stimulants such as steroids, growth hormones etc. Personally I have never been tempted with the steroid approach and have achieved my physique with hard work, dedication and determination. One of the misinterpretations with steroids is that by taking them alone you will magically obtain huge size. This is a complete fallacy as you still have to train hard and maintain the right diet to get results. Have seen countless people take a course of steroids and been disappointed with the results purely because they've failed to put the level of work in. Also have known complete novices who don't even know the basics of weight training juicing themselves up with gear within days of joining the gym. Have been out of action for three months due to a serious bicep injury, hoping to resume light training very soon

  4. Thanks for the comments. The house was totally renovated from top to bottom and there's still lots to do in terms of the outside really. I was going to grow some stuff up the front of the house to try to hide its ugliness and the garden needs landscaping, drive re-gravelling and garage doors painting etc etc etc. BUT i've lost the will to live with it now after being stuck in it with my ex for the last 20 months, and I have no money to do anything else.

My next house will probably be as big as my garage is now but it will be just for me alone which is the whole point of the sale! I can't bloody wait!

Twenty months!! How on earth did you manage that, it would have destroyed me!? Had my ex in my flat for two weeks until she found alternative accommodation and that was difficult enough even with no animosity between us. No wonder you cant wait! Good luck and I hope all goes well

  5. One of the girls at work had the misfortune to severely prang the front end of their RX8 on the way home last night. Apparently some idiot pulled out infront of her thinking they had the right of way despite the give way sign indicating different! She was understandably a tad down in the dumps today until her insurance company sent her a TT cabrio as a courtesy car!! Will find out who shes with on Monday and may consider changing to that company when I renew. Couldn't believe it, thought they'd send something like a micra! Certainly put a smile on her face

  6. When I first got the zed I took her to my mates workplace to get her over the inspection pit and one of his collegues commented 'sounds nice but shame about the badge'. Transpires he was a TVR man but admitted he was impressed with my zed even though it was a Jap.

One of the lads at work was quite involved with the local offroad club and reckoned there was a massive divide between the landrover brigade and the Jap 4x4 guys.

Personally I believe everyones preference should be respected as we all love our motors and it's always nice to see any make of car thats looking a bit special

  7. Why do people do this? What sick pleasure do they get out of it? If any of my staff pulled the sick stunt of reporting one of their colleagues for something trivial I'd tell them to grow up, **** off and then ensure they got all the @*!# jobs for the rest of the week. I'd even be less than impressed if they reported something major as point A i detest grasses and B would be very disappointed for not being aware of events myself! This sort of behaviour has no place in the work place as it destroys team spirit and breeds discontent. An unhappy workforce is not conducive to maximum efficiency and productivity

  8. where/who are you thinking of hiring one from? Sometimes the council has some but there's usually a waiting list.

There are several elderly neighbours with garages who dont seem to own a car, was thinking of knocking on a few doors and enquiring. Trying to get an idea of what sort of price to offer per week

  9. Toying with the idea of renting a garage as the old dear who occupies the allocated parking space next to mine has a succession of carers, physiotherapists and other medical professionals visiting at various times of the day who have no qualms about banging doors into my pride and joy :bang: At present my car is protected by a makeshift cardboard and bubblewrap shield which protects the vunerable area from these inconsiderate ***** but is a pain in the arse to apply every time i park up. Would be helpful if anyone else on here who hires a garage can give me an indication of what it's likely to cost?

  10. Hi mate, if you click on my progress thread in my sig I have done a full photo shoot on both these with oils and torque settings. :yahoo:

Just mailed that to my mechanic pal, he's very impressed and commented on what a top site this is  Big thanks mate

  11. I would do it...takes 10 minutes. Then you know where you are Oh and do the gearbox as well, cost is minimal and its so easy to do. There no down side.

I presume there's a drain plug to both so it's not a syringe job?

  12. Posted a week or so ago that my car had missed its 36k P3 service as when I checked with the dealership the previous owner had instructed on a lesser service. The vehicle has done 40k now and I was wondering how essential it is to change the diff oil?
