  1. The skipping Cd is starting to drive me daft. I am seriously thinking of getting a new stereo with Iphone support.

Get it changed mate, mine drove me mad for two years before it finally packed in. Travelled nearly 300 miles to pick up the car and the salesman phoned me on route saying the car would be ready an hour later than agreed as they hadn't finished valeting. Sure the extra hour was spent playing CDs so the unit didn't skip when I picked it up

  2. Typical of my recent bad luck, the day I decide to have my new head unit fitted and the forums down :bang: Thankfully my mechanic pal is pretty hot on all things electrical and managed to get it successfully installed but could have got it done a lot quicker with the help of the wealth of information to be found on here. Big thumbs up to everyone involved in getting the forum back up and running

  3. its not her looks that make her unattractive for me, its her gobshite attitude. Girls who are up them selves are a big no-no for me. Not saying they have to have zero self confidence but being down to earth is a must.

Spot on, been out with several girls who have had an overinflated opinion of themselves but in reality have been very average. Don't have a lot of time for full on overconfident girls, infact I go for quite the opposite and find modesty a very attractive trait. My prefered body type, don't mind as long as they're young, slim and pretty

  4. Don't know if this has been covered before but does certain music influence your driving style? The reason I ask this is because my other half reckons that Rammstein, especially played loud, makes me drive a lot faster and with more aggression (towards the road not other road users I must add!) Nothing like going for a blast with Rammstein at full blast, just need fire out of the exhaust for the full Rammstein effect!

  5. Fourtyeight year old warehouse manager for the NHS. Ex punkrocker, football hooligan and pub doorman

Srangely enough, earlier in the week, one of the young lads in my gym asked what car I drove. He appeared a little surprised when I said a 350Z to which i responded 'what did you expect me to drive, a people carrier or something!!'

Think you'll find a very wide spectrum of zed owners, don't think the concept of a stereotypical owner exists

  6. Had the same problem today, no super unleaded anywhere in Shrewsbury!! Fuel tank light was on by the time I reached Tescos, my last option, so had to put in a tenners worth of standard 95 ron. Thankfully have a second car so will fill up with super later in the week when the nonsense has hopefully concluded. What really infuriates me is that there was absolutely no need for all this panic buying, if everybody had acted responsibly and filled up only when they needed fuel there wouldn't have been a shortage. These are the same imbeciles who clear the shelves of bread at Christmas, brain dead the lot of em :rant::bang:

  7. See the car regularly if it's the same one I'm thinking of, chap lives in Copthorne and my mate reckons he's previously had quite a few quick motors although I've only noticed the zed. Informed him of this site about a year ago and gave him the web address explaining that it's a hive of information but obviously he wasn't interested. Seems to be a few zeds knocking round the Shrewsbury area at the moment, common as muck now

  8. Thanks for the advice  Just want something to play CDs, no need for a fancy touch screen especially at £400+ a throw

No real problem with the installation as I've got a pal who'll kindly do that, was just hoping it'd be relatively simple as not to inconvenience him too much.

  9. Saw one of these parked up in Church Stretton yesterday and had a bit of a look around it much to the worry of the owner who I noticed peeping through his window as a six foot four shaven headed bodybuilder analysed his car, think he may have thought I was trying to steal it  Anyway, I was most impressed, striking shade of yellow, stunning alloys, a real head turner  But, what are those hideous eighties style decals on the side of the car all about :scare: think they completely spoil the look of an otherwise stunning motor  everyone to their own I suppose but my first move would be to get them removed. Otherwise was really impressed, stunning, want one!!

  10. Travelled from Shrewsbury for a Saturday night out in Chester, passed on the A5 Nesscliffe bypass by a R8 that made me feel stationary and I wasn't hanging around, bully lol, christ the thing could accelerate, awesome fair play. Got to Chester and parked up in the car park by the station, on walking out I saw a 60 plate red GTR parked outsite one of the hotels, never seen one of the new ones up close before, what a beast it was gorgeous, want one now, excited me more than my date

  11. Finally managed to chat to the owner of a black GT4 that I regularly see parked up in Shrewsbury. Nice looking car too. Gave him the details of this site explaining how helpful the members are and what a fabulous source of information it is. Don't post regular and internet conversation isn't really my thing so don't get involved in the banter but when neccessary I have found the information invaluable. Top marks to a top site.

  12. Having a major service on the zed next week, is it worth changing the power steering fluid? It's a 2004 car and has done 48000 miles, plus the power steering has always worked fine. Would anyone recommend it to be done or is it best left alone and only changed if there's a problem?
