  1. Pretty much what i was thinking said in a better way lol.
  2. how much for it? What does it look like? XD
  3. I'm afraid I tend to agree. If you are having to get loans etc to cover paying off the car then any issues that may arise and are not accounted for may lead to you resenting it. But if you really really love it then go for it! Whats wrong with having a loan to pay for a car? Im not offended or arguing here, im interested... Ideal world obviously, you'd pay for it outright, but in the real world unless you're very lucky that's not possible. Who has £15k lying about to buy a car outright that isnt: a) still at home with their parents older, therefore had chance to save/make money on property etc c) a spoiled brat d) Have a ridiculously good job (i.e contracting or self employed etc). Im in my mid 20's, only been working for 3 years having come out of Uni so had no chance to save, but earn enough to have a nice car in my life... finance makes the world go round! Good point well put i agree, BUT my point was id try and avoid getting another loan and paying more money and instead cut back on your spending, im sure its possible, also i just feel loaning is the wrong thing to do, im not knocking you for it, its just somthing i would avoid at all costs as it can tend to make you dig a deeper hole, not a personal comment atall im just wearing my logical hat at the moment, but hey its all fun so maybe throw the logical thinking out the window for a bit.
  4. I cant help but feel a little bit annoyed at how people stereotype younger people, were not all the idiots you see driving around in cars like a complete tw*t, im 20 and still saving for my Z and my premium will be somthing similar to what has been mentioned, i dont drink, i dont smoke, i dont do drugs or blow my money away! I work hard for my money why cant i spend it on wha i like without being frowned upon by elders just for havig the dedication to work hard and save up for what i love!?!?? And believe it or not the whole time ive been driving i would never speed in a built up area. Even on the motorways and dual carriageways i see alot of older people flying past and i think what an idiot, now if i did that it would be a hundred times worse because im young. I think alot of people forget what its like to be young, were only young once and it doesnt last long, might aswell enjoy it, i could be doing alot worse.... I.E junkie in debt and homeless stealing for my next fix! Lol.
  5. Why do people bother to blur there number plate in pictures they post on-line, am i correct in assuming the only information people can get on the car is not personal? Maybe its a stupid question but surely most people have nothing to hide?
  6. Not sure how far you are from wimbledon/raynes park but got my car done there 150 a panel, personally know the people, family run business, very good. Let me know if your interested.
  7. If its not beyond your means, then keep it, if it stretches you too much then sadly its gotta go, maybe temporarily!? I don't think its a good idea to borrow money IMHO, but if the Z means that much to you, maybe you can cut back on other spending I.E where you do your weekly shopping, stop modding your car, work extra hours, that's what id do. Borrowing is never a good option, sorry if i sound annoying or whatever xD
  8. Wicked Colours, Any covers for outdoor?
  9. After my recent trip to Nissan dealership to get my old man';s GTR serviced, i saw the cover for the GTR and it looked pretty awesome shown here (its a little different to the one i saw in real life this one is alot looser and doesn't really flatter the car): http://media.photobucket.com/image/gtr% ... G_3733.jpg But i was wondering if there are any covers for the 350z which have something similar on the front like "Z" or "350Z" Would be pretty nifty.
  10. Ive just had some second thoughts! Will steering controls work if the bose is replaced with the alpine?!?! If it doesnt which aftermarket will? If any!?
  11. I hardly EVER see a 350z in South London, to date ive seen 3 350z's and 2 370z's! as far as I can remember!
  12. It does actually say above but its 54000 at present. Sorry! I must be going blind!
  13. I'm looking at replacing the Bose stereo in the 350z with an alpine head unit (Alpine IVA-W505R) Im wondering what im going to need to make it flush, will i need an adapter? Any of you guys sell them? Secondly ive got the following AMP and Subwoofer from my old car, will they fit.... Orion HCCA-D5000 (Amplifier) Orion HCCA Subwoofer (12.2") 4000 watt. Will they fit?
  14. Lol no dude, when you get remote start it only starts the engine, nobody can drive without the key actually in the ignition, its pretty nifty and besides your doors will still be locked.
  15. Instead of fixing our roads MPs take luxury holidays and claim expenses for millions of pounds... that's where our money goes! Gordon Brown is crap.... whichever party you vote for you will wont be please they are all unsatisfying IMHO. Back in the days when i owned a polo gti i went down a pothole and wrote to the council i took pictures there and then, billed them for my time changing the wheel and cost of a new tyre as it completely messed up the side-wall! 1 hour of my time + new tyre = £250 Sorted! took 3 months to get refunded though! But if your persistent you can do it!
  16. That just makes me even more upset! Not fair that US gets key-less, interesting, are you sure that bottom pic is genuine, looks really odd. Mind you, it would take alot more than a key fob to put me off buying a 350z! My heart is set on one and i will not settle for anything less! My insurance premium is probably a record high for this forum, but you know what Its just one of those things, i seen the amount of money people spend on modding in excess of 20k even 30k so as said in the 100k miles thread! 350z experience, priceless. Moving on im wondering if the viper remote start for iphone is available for 350z! Its bloody awesome! Specially in this weather, just turn your baby on from your window when you wake up and then its warmed up, engine is ready to go and less wear and tear overall, and nice warm de-frosted car when you get in! Here is a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AG_zTIRR3cI I think it comes with a separate key-less entry fob as well. SWEET! Anybody done this or something similar?
  17. That is a shame, the 350z was a special car the time it was released, they should atleast have a special key! What a shame o well still a brill car. Although test driving a 370z really makes me want one, probs a bad idea!
  18. I was looking around on reviews of the Z particularly the 2006 and came across this review: http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/int ... ndex1.html It mentions Universal standards include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, tilt/telescoping column with pivoting main-instrument cluster, power windows/locks/mirrors, keyless remote entry, dual 12V powerpoints, and 240Z-style ancillary gauges in the center of the dash for the trip computer/tire-pressure monitor/oil pressure/voltmeter I highlight the fact it says key-less remote entry! Is this true and if so what do they pre 06z key fobs look like? Pics? Do they look like this? http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/veh ... ob-480.jpg Or this? http://www.nissantt.com/M_pathfinder/sa ... yFob_t.gif Im confused. Cheers.
  19. 2005 and under, if you search around you may get a 2005 low mileage, and a mint 2003 or 2004. Personally id save up more and go for a 2006 as you get the rev-up engine, slightly nicer interior and a lil more HP, And also bi-xenon lights and LED rears. Although changing a pre 06 car to have LED's and put out the same power as the 06 isnt hard with an ECU. But personally im waiting and saving up that little bit extra so i can just buy it all stock and then i wont have to tinker. Although you have to draw the line somewhere i mean you could then say the 07 is better is its 80% new engine and more HP updated exterior etc. Just make sure its GT pack! Let us know if you get one, id like to see as im still searching for a Z myself.
  20. I think your all right, so im going to be looking for a z in the near future. Hopefully i will get one soon!
  21. what if i can save myself 1k? or even 2? Is that realistic?
  22. Hey guys im just wondering what your thoughts are on prices of used cars (in this case 350z) I know there has been a price Increase in the last 6 months to a year. Im wondering what your thoughts are on say the next 3 months, 6 months and 1 year? I mean im getting a z, and i will have the money in 3 months, but im wondering should i just suffer for 6 months and save myself 1000 or so for mods? Its getting really hard to save up now, i test drove the 370z yesterday because my old man put his GTR in for a service at mill hill, they let us have a go with the 370z (blue, auto, GT ultimate pack) for a couple hours and boy do i love it. Shame they are so expensive! for me anyway. So getting back to the subject what are your opinions? Cheers!
  23. Lol no im not a spammer, i just read a few posts and thought some of you guys out there could use the info. alot of people hate on the 350z. Next time ill keep quiet. i only posted this after seeing "dhinsa87" post GUTTED thread. And yeah ekona thanks for showing me that! Fixed.
