  1. No base models have no controlls on the steering wheel. I think satnav was an extra The car you linked us to doesnt have gt pack which consists of leather heated seats and cruise controll (you can tell because both sides of the steering wheel have controlls on a GT pack car) Although this looks like a sweet Z and its not the base model because it has controlls on the left hand side of the wheel.
  2. That just means it doesnt have sat nav - that wouldnt bother me one bit i actually perfer it without satnav as you can get nurrish (a member on here) to install a way better system for you or you can use it as a storage space since the 350z doesnt have a glovebox compartment. And yes its perfectly normal for the Z not to have a screen installed, a tomtom is way faster and more up to date than a nissan birdview satnav! Hope this helps! One thing i would reccommend is the GT pack though - this consists of leather heated seats, cruise controll, and depnding on the year rays alloys as standard and some other stuff i think. 02-05 are the first model of car some 06 are the mid model with updated interior and bi-xenon lights with LED rear lights which look alot nicer + nicer finish interior and some other minor stuff aswell as around 300bhp. 07 i think are the 313 bhp with a bonnet bulge + what the 06 mid life Z's were updated with. Post the link to the car and we will help as much as possible
  3. I would love to buy off here but i dont see any bone stock azure 06+ for sale with less than 30k miles? + gt pack
  4. the dealer told they HPI check all thier vehicles and i rang the finance company they said there is still outstanding payments and they still register an interest in this vehicle. He even just put the phone down and said ring fred in the evening im sorry but i smell another BSitter Pretty dodgy! What is it with me? i just want a nice easy buy
  5. As i said i didnt ask for personal details i asked for the name of the company. You acted like there is nothing wrong with what he was saying, after he avoided every single question regarding finance and was very unhelpful in clearing up this matter. It was merely a flag to anybody looking at the vehicle.
  6. So why would you be so sarcastic and put I told you it isnt unfair to ask for the above as an HPI gives it to you anyway
  7. no need geoff i have already done the checks and there are now 2 vehicles i can confirm are VERY suspect.... I sent you the reg just for your sake if you want to check it show anybody disagreeing with me in particular sarnie i am indeed CORRECT.
  8. Yes i know best, your wrong, the HPI gives you the following information: Recorded against: VRM Description:NSSIAN 350Z 35 03 349 Date: **/**/**** Finance house:*********** Finance house telephone: ************* Agreement reference:******** Agreement type: Hire Purchase
  9. Oh and FYI anybody telling me its unreasonable asking for the name of the finance company.... asking for the finance details is not somthing unacceptable because when doing an HPI if the vehicle has recorded finance againt it they provide you with the name of the fiance provider and ref no for the policy that is held out on it and even the date it was taken out... so me asking him for details and ref no is perfectly reasonable because this information an HPI would bring up to let you know who to contact regarding the issue of outstanding finance on the vehicle... without even speak to the person.
  10. whatever you get, best of luck
  11. The postcode is KA26 9NN this is the Z Could anybody do me a favour and look at it id really REALLY... REALLY appreiciate it!
  12. your not getting it I didnt ask for his bank details or the amount owed on the vehicle! I purely want to check with the leasing company nothing dodgy is going on here.... data protection wont allow them to give me any personal information anyway! There is nothing wrong with me checking out if this car is legit to buy/sell. If a sort code and account number could be used to commit fraud the every person you write a cheque to would be able to fleece you! So yeah there isnt even much to worry about even if i asked him for that!
  13. Sarnie, not a few e-mails... 21 to be correct... i just am giving you a summary, anyway i never said hes a con artist... just be careful is what i meant, yes i probably did go overboard but better to vent my fustration here that on anybody else? Ive been advised after showing the e-mail's to several people not to take this any furthur without him clearing up the cituation with money owed on the vehicle, why view a car when there is all this crap to be sorted out? Waste of a 2 hour journey for me. If he wants me or anybody to buy the vehicle he would be simple and up front about it, or make an arrangement where i pay the debt off and the rest of the money is for him(to do this i would need to contact the leasing company anyway), we then sign over the car. He refuses to allow me to speak to finance company and avoids all questions about it. Now i dont care what you say but to me or anybody with half a brian that is a little bit specially with the elabourate and slightly inaccurate story he gave me as soon as i asked for the reg to check it. (not saying this story isnt true - but you dont just pay for the depreciation on a leasing agreement as far as i am aware.)
  14. The fact he avoids any questions about money owed on the car is pretty suspect? after speaking to my financial controller he informs me there is no reason why he shouldnt atleast give me the name of the leasing agent. It may well be genuine but I find the whole way he is going about it a little worrying! Anyway end of, it could well be a bargain but seems like alot of hassle. So yeah just a heads up for anybody going to look at it or is interested.
  15. This car is perfect for me but im still walking away! Hes trying to get out of anything to do with finance and fails to reply after ive asked him for paperwork on several occations! He will answer the other questions but not the finance stuff. I think your being a bit harsh. I wouldnt give out details of my finance arragements to someone who had not even been to see the car....... No way am i being harsh, it cant affect him in any way, the company for a start wont hand over any details of the vehicle or his debts, thats private information, but what might happen is when i call up they say, hes not meant to sell the car he owes us money etc, and basically let me know if its ok to buy it or not. Hes avoided every question i asked him and wont even name the company he took the leasing argreement out with .... first he didnt know it... not he tells me he doesnt want to give me it! Then it may jepodize the "great" deal he has with the company .... WTF is that about hes going to pay it off anyway if hes selling it? Its all excuses and no proof.... he continually avoided my questions about proof of finance and paperwork. Not worth my time. Hes acting really suspect and when hes cleared off the finance ill speak to him othrwise f**k that! Wow! Chill mate. If you feel so strongly about it all I think you should probably have walked away after your first e-mail exchange. Put it behind you and move on. Now breathe..... Ok im chilled no offence to anybody he just peed me off with all the excitement and effort i put in to looking at it and money spent and now im carless... sold my car yesterday...

He will answer the other questions but not the finance stuff. First he lies to me telling me he doesnt remember, then on the same day before he gets off from work he says he doesnt want to give it to me!
  18. Latest reply from him after i asked him for the details: Hi Joshua, REPLY I would rather not disclose that information at the current time as I have a good deal in place and don't want to jeopardise it. I will clear the outstanding finance before you hand over any money so I don't feel it's necessary at this stage. I only mentioned the lease/finance because from the questions you were asking, I assumed you wanted to perform an HPI check. I hadn't considered anyone would want to do that without first seeing the car - which is why the finance is still in place. So what if he has a good deal, the bank have given him the deal they wont retract it because i want to buy the vehicle if he is genuine he would just pay it off and give me the details of the lease company, somthing is fishy here! This could well be a genuine car, but he sure is being awkward in answering any of my questions! So for this reason i am not looking at this particular car anymore For anybody looking at this car BEWARE! He wasnt even going to mention the finance! REG: EY56 SWF His ads are on the following: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0507759337 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1587733.htm BEWARE OF HIM EVERY QUESTION I ASK ABOUT THE FINANCE HE AVOIDS!
  19. Ive just got off the phone to AA HPI check - they said the car had finance marked agasint it march this year but currently it is clear of any finance, i then informed AA that the owned even told me there is finance outstanding on the vehicle. I am worried because the HPI isnt accurate so what if there are 1 or more loans secured against the vehicle that the owner isnt telling me about... look at what i emailed him ME Hi Damon, I have a couple of questions before i come and visit the car today. Is there any finance or balance owing on the vehicle? Can you give me the name of the leasing company who you bought the vehicle from and the name of the bank that now owns them? Do you have paperwork to show the car is yours and there is no balance owed? I need to know this information because i dont want to buying a car with an outstanding balance, im sure you can apprieciate where i am coming from. Thank you for all your help and i look foward to viewing the car. REPLY Hi, As per my email yesterday, currently there is outstanding finance on the vehicle. But I will clear this prior to anyone purchasing it, I've already spoken to the finance company and confirmed I can do this. So you won't be purchasing a car with outstanding finance. Off the top of my head I don't know how much is outstanding or the name of the new company, but it's not one you will of heard of as it's a commercial bank. wtf he doesnt remember the company, thats total BS i would remember the company i owe money to without even think about it, thats like saying i dont know what bank i bank with?
  20. Yeah i was expecting a flood of replys but nobody seems to want to get involved lol which makes me if anything i will just walk away if he doesnt provide me with every little drop of information.
  21. Ok im going to view the car today, i have had it HPI checked and it has come out with no outstanding balance, i am covered for 30k of losses if i they supply me with incorrect information from what i can tell, I would apprieciate it if sombody can give me some advice on this issue and i am a bit weary of the whole thing. I have requested that the seller present me with paperwork to show there is no outstanding balance on the vehicle. When i see him today i am going to ask him in detail about this issue, and i will want details to contact the leasing company to check he is legally allowed to sell this vehicle or if they have any record of the vehicle and if they do i will get written confirmation they have records of it and its paid off. Anybody have some thoughts or input to put in id apprieciate it.
