  1. Welcome, and congrats on the purchase.
  2. in total agreement.....maybe also a front splitter Cool, not just me then. He's already mentioned a front splitter is on the cards.
  3. Welcome to the club Car looks lovely, although with imposing side skirts and a spoiler like that I feel it needs a rear bumper, apron or canards as it looks like something is missing from the back. Loving white zeds at the moment.
  4. Ok, so those with the new wireless wheel, what is it like? I'm gonna order the game for when I get back and Argos has got the game and wheel for £59 at the moment...Is it worth it?
  5. That looks lovely. A proper Porsche that.
  6. Welcome to the club. As said above you don't have to but I would for the time it takes. You can even just disconnect the battery for a few minutes, or if you don't want to loose your radio pre-sets you can disconnect the ECU which can be found just behind the panel above the passenger foot well, to the left of the cigarette lighter. If you don't want to do either of them you can do the pedal dance. (see guides for ecu reset for the pedal method)
  7. Yeah, they do appear to have a much more classic Z line. It does surprise me how high the suspension is on the rear of the 350/370 considering you don't need the extra clearance for the weight of rear passengers. I love the more aggressive look of the 370 with the big wheel arches and fangs but I prefer the more curved profile of the 350. If If I was lucky enough to have the choice between owning either, I would struggle to decide.
  8. I was impressed with the demo, so looking forward to it. Unfortunately I'm away for another 2 weeks.
  9. 452's are not very good in the wet at all and i found them a bit scary in the winter. Both the tyres you suggest are a big step down from what you already have fitted. If it were me I would buy some more re050a for the rear now and and the same again on the front with next months pay. If money is tight maybe consider some decent part worns. My order of preference would be, Goodyear eagle f1 Michelin ps2's or s's Bridgestone potenza re050a Vredestein sessanter
  10. Can't answer your question, but what fuel did you use? I seem to remember your zed was one of the high oil consumption engines?
  11. I want to say, why not have him on your office desk, but guess I better give me a for having such a thought
  12. Well as said before, lots of tests show that Tesco99/momentum is as good if not better than Shell optimax/Vpower. Regarding the cleanliness of tanks, I would think that varies alot whether its a supermarket or a shell/BP garage. I assume its down to the individual manages to sort that so you could also get dirtier Shell tanks. I drive a 20 mile round trip to get my petrol (tesco 99/Momentum) because I won't put 95 in. I used tesco 99 in my Jap import( meant to use 100 octane) 375bhp Supra for 6 years and done over 60k hard miles on an engine that had done 150k miles and never had a problem. I'm more than happy to use it in My S/C Zed.
  13. very annoying but as wasso said these things happen, could have been a lot worse. Besides, I'm sure she'll be feeling very guilty and will be trying to repay you
  14. (looks at postcount)... your right! so I am. Oh well, best use it up on this thread whilst its such an appropiate subject! Congratulations Rabitstew
