did it when I had my first car (mini cooper mkI). You could get what was basically a white chinagraph thick pencil to colour in the letters. Would stay well clear of it now but on old muscle cars it still looks the biz

correct but that's why I said a cheap alternative -
just purchase the number plate holder parts from Holdcroft or Mr.F at MJP with forum discount. Easy.

you'll have some residual petrol still in the tank when you put the V Power in and it cleans the engine over a prolonged useage rather than a one tank fill up.
