the primetime shows are most likely up resed.
The whole cost in production and post production is massive in terms of kit to do it with. Most likely shot the same way as before. America doesn't even use widescreen (16:9) anyway.
On Sky HD.
Almost all the channels bar Sky Movies HD and Sky Sports HD will be normal channels that have be up resoultioned. The quality of these will onlt really be the same as normal non HD channels as that is the source material. Vry little is being made in HD. Sky Sports was one the first channels to start using HD camera's on their football.
+1 (Nismo's better though... )
Welcome, MuzBain!
Oh I agree Digsy, just don't think the standard one is that bad as it's mad out to be. It's far better than any other car in its class until you start getting up to to 911 territory
I'd go Plasma rather than LCD. LCD you get alot of motion blur wihich I find really annoying. The plasma refreshes alot better but you need to pay big dollar for a good one. Pioneer do some of the best in plasma. Also the rule with LCD or Plasma is you get what you pay for in terms of quality of picture.
The image is scanned with HORIZONTAL lines and not vertical although it depends on how you look at it but it is a series of lines running from left to right stacked on top of each other.
The Image is made up of 1080 horizontal lines from left to right stacked on each other.
Some material will appear smoother for instance any movement horizontal travelling accorss the screen in I mode.
