Hi guys bought some prism quad leds to replace the standard bulbs,if they fit that is lol. So on to the question.. Can I change them where they are,or do I have to mess about taking the bumper off or stripping anything? Cheers peeps

I know what you mean but i thought at least it will still get some air through half the grille this way

Gave the car a clean again today & decide i needed to move the plate as it didnt show the full effect of the smoothed bumper. So what do you think to the plates new home? took a quick one without a plate too,pity it cant stay that way

Is it pearl white Amy? If you ended up sellin cf bits for oem bits theres a few of us pearl white owners which would save you paint costs. 10x the car the fto is eh I loved my last fto but i dont miss it one bit,the zed does everythin so much better

I used to have an ice battery, i paid £300 for a stinger sp1000 but left it on the fto when i sold it, still ran a cap though

Yup hes right,i work in a body shop too & every now & then we get a mondeo,focus etc that doesnt match when its been painted so out come all the dated spray out cards to pick which to use again

Wouldnt say necessary i suppose,maybe depends on the state the cars left in but when i clay the car i spray it bit by bit with water & clay it. Basically mines covered in 'dirty' coloured watery marks so it needs washing again Gets any last bits of crap off too

I prefer to wash again after clayin

Lol yeah,it must of come from the factory set on the EQ thing, either that or when i sold the unit to my mate before realising i had a part missin hed flicked it.lol. i didnt know the switch was even there Luckily i hadnt spent the money he gave me for it so i gave him it back & took the unit back home

We have a winner folks just a shame my dad & i have wasted 3 afternoons installin,removing & messing around with it & all it was was a switch

when you push the volume button you get fade,balance,sub level & defeat but defeat made no odds earlier. Ill go back out to dads car & try it with this switch on norm & hope for the best

Everythin was amped in my last car dude,never happened to see a switch or anythin like that. I tried a speaker i found but it was a tad wet & scabby so no idea weather it worked or not,which doesnt help really does it.lol. Ok right,just got my brain back out.underneath theres a sunken switch that says eq/div and norm on it. So the manual says: System Switch. When connecting an equiliser or divider using AI-NET feature,place this switch in the EQ/DIV position.When no device is connected.leave the switch in the NORM position

Ok update time............................. Looks like its the alpine at fault somewhere,either the loom,brain or internal amp tried it in my dads car & it just does the same as it did in the zed. Any ideas as to what to check? This kinda thing really annoys me.it worked fine when i took it out my last car after buying the zed

Yup i shelled out a fair whack for it.lol. Should of put that ive got both of these as im not arsed to messed about remakin things etc to get hem in the zed. Ill get you some pictures if your interested dude & we could sort a figure between us

last time i tried it(strangely the girlfriend had an md lying about) it gave no sound and i cant try it now.Going out to the car now to try something so ill report back soon lol
