Well after i decided to try again for a quote after being shot down in flames the first time,im now insured with Chris Knott,didnt even ask this time about performance rear driven cars,also turned out to be £105 cheaper at £871.99 Good result people & i must add Dan was very helpful,even with a dodgy keyboard.lol

Hi peeps,above my rear view mirroe ive got a button either side, 1 says Compass Link & the pther says auto dj, Any ideas anyone?lol. Got another random button by the ignition that i dont know what it does,il have to get a picture of that though

Yeah i definately got hids as the start up just like my fto hids. Maybe it just wants the beam pattern setting up then like someone mentioned.Was going to swap them over if they were the same.lol,for some reason they dont look quite as nice as the 6k in the fto

The zed i bought yesterday has hids on it but hey arent nowhere near the standard of the hids on my fto,would anyone happen to know if theyre both the same size? I believe the zed bulbs are H7's ? Tar muchly in advance Shaun

That i bought a zed today ended up getting a pearl white private plated 52 plate JDM off pistonheads. Its got a few bits on it but i decided to sacrifice wanting leather for the colour & few of the other bits it had on it. Seems alot heavier than that fto but its awesome

What Unabashed last said was same for me,i said about the fto & he said theres no point me trying

I saw that too,i read they allow more air in & have seen quite a few people have them so im guessin they actually do something then ?

I had 3 to look at today mate,2 were sold & the other needed work on it so decided against the few hour journey each way.Cant find anymore in my price range either

Lol i agree,in my opinion its the nicest i do like the temper orange though but thats way out my price range,wouldnt like to tax the thing either.lol

I have up to 9k to spend on a zed,had a good look around the net but most seem to have gone really. Ideally id like an Azure blue one but dont mind looking at others wether they be modded or standard im not fussed. Anybody? Shaun

Well two of the three i was going to look at are sold,one being Philtheforce's on here,was going to PM him then saw the thread.lol.Another azure blue i rang about had gone too.Last one now is an azure blue thats on ebay & pistonheads at 9k with a few mods on it,downside is that theres a few scratches hes put & its a looonnnggg way from where i live That blue one belongs to "Codlord" a member on the 'other' site. Does look like a really nice car, and £9000 is a bargain Yup his ebayer name is something like that too.Id of happily paid 9k for it if it didnt need paintwork on it.Asked him about the tyres too,like if theyre worn uneven & tread left(19s on it) and he didnt know,just said they are about 6-7 months old. Could of been destroyed at the back in that time.lol. PhilTheForces looked a nice car but someone beat me to that

Id looked at that Danny but ive only got upto 9k to spend really,makes things harder i know but hey.Turns out the last azure i mentioned is a no go too.the scratches on it 100% need painting & even through work id be looking at at least another £200+ to get the quarter painted and the scratches on the bumper. Im trawling through links off google for zeds for sale now.Anyone know of anywhere to try?ideally wanted to check some out tomorow & take it home if its good enough

Whoop as the title says i have money waiting to buy a zed so its time to make a few calls & emails,theres a possibility of one on here to if its still for sale

Ive just rang a few places for quotes on a zed, My current insurer sky says my premium will not change until renewal time which then it would be £975.Rang direct line after a good quote online but they dont list any autos,its jumped up from £57 a month up to £115 a month To top that off Chris Knott wont insure me as i havent had a performance rear wheel car before & my current car makes no odds either,didnt even get to age etc. It was a nice friendly guy on the phone though. Maybe i wont be having a zed after all as i dont really want to go back to payin nearly £100 a month on insurance,havent done that since i was about 18
