  1. No CCTV, I think the offending vehicle might be grey, so I'll have a snoop tomorrow it would of damaged their car too.
  2. Hi Guys, Writing this for advice and closure. Returned to my car after work today to find on of my colleagues had reversed into it. Putting a lovely dent in the o/s wing, putting a plum sized hole in the bumper and pushing the headlight back 5mm, alas no note. I work at a hospital in Cornwall, can only narrow the culprit to 300 cars, resigned to never finding who did it. The wing might be repairable along with the headlight, I'll need a new bumper though. The dilema is; do I foot the bill or claim off my insurance? I'm 30 with 9 years NCB (not protected), £350 excess with a clean licience. Needless to say I'm seething, praying (in vain) that they may have a guilty conscience over night and fess up. Cheers, Stevo179
  3. Saw a silver 52 import in Falmouth the same morning about 7.30.
  4. Ipod hack looks great, but looks beyond my (very) limited mechanical expertise.
  5. I get issues too, skipping, though I have twigged when to play cds ie when it is dry. However what hacks me off is 10 seconds after I start a cd the left speakers cut out. Though the radio works fine...very odd.
  6. Hi Guys, I have done a quick search but haven't found a thread which fully describes my predicament. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that if I folded my mirrors in the window wouldn't go down fully (or up fully) until I killed the engine or open the door (or combination of both). As a result I've stopped folding the mirrors for the time being until I can get it booked in with an auto electrician. However today I put the window down to swipe out of the work car park this evening and it wouldn't go up at all. It just made a rapid clicking noise, when I tried pressing down it made a whirring noise. So I had to endure a 15 mile drive home in typical Cornish weather (i.e. heavy showers) with the window down! I tried stopping the car restarting it opening the door to no avail, I then locked and unlocked it and it went up no problem. The window goes up smoothly so I don't think it is the motor, having had the passenger one replaced on warranty I'm familiar with the symptoms and it seems very different. I'm going to get it booked in next week with an auto electrician next week, just wondered if anyone may have a clue as to what is going on. Cheers Steve ps its a UK 2004 GT
  7. Since owning my Zed (which I'm smitten with) I've lost count of the toothless simpletons driving Saxo's, Corsa's and the like trying to look like big men by overtaking me, oblivious to the fact I'm ticking over in 6th gear, and have no interest in wasting my time with this sort of thing.

  9. Had mine since Jan, average 28 mpg on a 13 mile commute A/B roads, which is only 2-3 mpg worse than my old 2.2 Prelude. I tend to drive like an old man during the week, and only open it up at the weekends.
  10. I got the MOT certificate number on mine, you can check out all the previous MOT's online for free, the milages are recorded. This should show up any discrepancies.
  11. Having been in a very similer boat recently I had two inspections, one was a pup, the seconds was a gem (my new car) its good piece of mind and I was able to get the dealer to put things right which the AA guy spoted.
