Adjustable traction control is something we have developed. Not all EcuTek 370Z tuners have the traction control set up like we run on our 370Z remaps

Well, it came to that time of year again, and so another day I had to endure the irrationality of my automotive separation anxiety
However, I can only yet again heap praises onto the guys at Abbey for taking care of my pride and joy as it went in for the mini morsel of a P1 and MOT
Cheers and many thanks to Mark, Scott & all for their excellent service and quick turn around.
PS. Scott was going to send me a quote for diff bush set replacement. Would you PM it to me pls!
flick me and Scott an email to remind us , Scott doesn't have time to troll any forums that is my job.

Okay best to come and see us then.

Starting the car with the centre sensor is disconnected normally flags the DTC light.
Where are you based in the UK?

I'm using the link g4+ plugin ecu very flexible unlike my old turboxs utec
Yes a good set up to use, I see your still using DBW throttle , what throttle motor are you using?
You should of looked at the Link CAN Lambda set up. Far more accurate and more reliable output than a normal 0-5v output lambda/AFR.
-
what ECU are you using? good the throttle bodies fit under the stock bonnet. Great work.

Mark, hope you're good
I'm going with coilovers in the rear so 300lbs is actually pretty stiff. I've had a fair bit of discussion with MCS about what I want from the car and how I'd like it to handle and this is their recommendation on what to run. Worse case it's only a pair of springs to swap out to try something else with the setup.
arh I read as you changed the lower arms you was using the SPL arms that take the springs. So you not re-enforcing the suspension mounts to go coil over then?
-
Good Damper I know Jerome from years ago when he started JRZ.
Are you sure 300lb rear springs will be hard enough as they are in board of the rear damper position. I think I am running 8kg/mm on the rear of my Trackday Zed which works out as 450lb which i still think is to soft.
Only run a 10KG on the front which is softer than you are going to run.

I doubt it tbh. All the figures I have seen from the US never can be repeated on my dyno.

not without spending a lot of money

HFC,s or de-cats and exhaust system inc Y pipe , drop in panel filters and Ecutek remap we normally see around 350bhp flywheel BHP.

Hey Mark,
I already have UPREV on my Z33 DE.
As you've already mentioned that JDM ECU's are okay for this, how much will you quote for just getting pops + bangs mapped in?
Regard,
Beefy
Did we tune the car?
thanks

Horsham are in Berkshire not that far from you , worth speaking to these guys < Jez and the workers will look after you.

The REV UP motor isnt as good as the DE once the DE is tuned. The REV UP (sorry for REV UP owners ) wasnt something Nissan should shout about.

Didnt we speak about fitting a DE motor in your REV UP.
In my eyes the DE is a better motor than the REV UP that lacks torque.

Hi
This is the tracking I had at the weekend, and its been maxed to factory settings as much as possible but as you can see still a little way to go. running CR Kiwani wheels 19x9.5 19x10 running Pilot Sports 255/40/19 295/35/19 on Eibach Pro sings 25mm / 20mm. Handling is very edgy as the steering is far to sharp and doesn't feel safe. Anyone suggestions ?
Looks like the toes are too aggressive toe in in my view.
The rear cambers although above the maximum tolerance will not make the car nervous like you have said.
I would run the car with parallel or just just 0.01/0.02 TOE OUT on the front and max off 0.05/0.06 TOE IN on the rear.
In my view rear camber kit will make not difference to how the car will drive but running less rear camber will gain some grip and stop excessive tyre wear.

In stock ready to ship/fit , just remind everyone we have the latest Hunter Hawkeye Alignment rig in house @ Abbey Motorsport.
-
Issue is SPL suspesnion units/arms are rosejointed they will be noisy and will wear out.
Eibach is TUV approved and used complaint bushes which are nice for the road.
-
Eibach is the best kit , keeps OEM ride quaity and is a well made item,
-
1st thing is to read the ECU data live and see what the cam position is at idle and when the DTC's are logged , this will tell is the cams are in the correct position or of the cam chain has stretched.

Mark, do you map in "pops and bangs" on request ?
My girlfriend has her car booked In with you for up rev (2005 car) and has just found out about pops and bands and is now like a kid at Christmas lol
Pops and bangs come free of charge with the base UPREV cost.

Thanks for your help Mark. I'm going to need to pay you guys a visit soon so makes sense to do this at the same time.
If I bought one of those ECU's and brought it to you, I'm assuming you'd just load the map you guys already did for me into it, add the ARC upgrades and away we go?
Does changing the ecu affect anything like remote central locking or NATS?
Your lose NATS and I would need to check all the tune as the REV UP may work a little different. but only around 2 hours dyno work.

Is it possible to buy a HR ecru and fit it into a DE? Guessing not as nobody has mentioned it. The DE ecu's frkm the US are pretty costly, shame they couldn't find room for it in the UK DE ECU
HR ECU wont fit either in connection or software.

If the US ecu's are so costly would it not be easier to simply fit a stand alone ecu on a DE ? Anyone done this ?
The US (DE) wide band ECU (early US car where narrow band like early JDM cars) are pretty cheap from the US around £150 normally or you could use a UK REV UP (296BHP) ECU we can just turn off the exhaust cam DTC codes there are cheap in the UK

any questions ask away
thanks
So would either of those fit my 05 plate DE Mark and then be multi mappable basically ?
I would like pops n bangs, but due to remote location my main need is maps to switch from super unleaded to standard unleaded
yes that ECU will provide what you require @MikeyM
