Yep I've seen some in region of 500. Getting software isn't a problem as most of it's freely available or I have licenses already. It's just trying to find the initial unit to fit and be able to run obdII on it. Nurrish were u running obdII and did u have the capability of playing DVDs etc? Sorry can't view video as I'm a work. Right guys I've been looking at this for a while and I'm very interested in getting a car pc(touchscreen) which i can use for data logging, music, dvd's and the ability to run Internet from my tethering on iPhone. I remember a while back nrenz was doing something based on nurrish's satnav but haven't heard anything in a while. Has anyone got any info or able to build something like this? Info on prices also. Alex if u have any sense you wold pay the traders fee as the potential earnings is alot more? I don't like the way you joked about someone else paying the traders fee, it seems like you have a problem parting with money and all you wanna do is make it. This doesn't look good on you at all

This is one of the main points for me. If you 100% developed the mod without referancing any meterial published on here for free by enthuasts then feel free to charge for it. I'm pretty sure you have used knowledge gained from the forum to help sort the design. Personally its the whole ethos of it thats not so great. This forum is all about helping others, I know I and many others do it. Answering PM after PM on how to fix stuff. Providing guides on what you need, how to wire it. This is all done out of the love of modding/cars. If you want to charge for what you have done - this is fine but you are 100% a trader. +1

Lol your 19's didn't slow you down that much on knockhill did a tester at donington park....over 10secs a lap from rays/888s no spacers to 19"/050As/20mm spacers. average from 1min 20-23 secs to 1min 30-35secs. they proper kill the car!!! My lmgt4 19's felt ok on the track, probs because I'm not fast enough yet to feel it the difference lol. There's alot more drag from wider wheels aswell compared to the smaller rays.

I put alot into organising runs alongside the official meet organisers in our region getting spaces at shows from contacts I have at last minute. I have provided people with painters at a fraction of the price it would cost at a local bodyshop and also put in my bit by checking out Scottish cars for new buyers in the southern region. No matter how much moneys donated it doesn't make the forum any better, it's about the people on here, ie no people no forum. A sticker on ur side window is minimal and allows all the people you drive by every to see the club name and site and every now and again we get people coming on here saying they seen a car with the sticker and are now looking to buy one. Seen this car in many many magazines. Absolutely love it. Brings a tear to the eye reading the story. Can't believe your selling it with so much stuff still on it. I guarantee it will appear at shows in it's current guise and still win awards

I guess you don't realise that this forum is about helping each other out. Are you supplying the relays? It's different when actually purchasing an item but all that's on offer is a guide.

Even though u have put in time and effort, there's thousands of how to's on here which people put effort into and posted up publicly for free as that's what the forums about, so in reality unless your fitting the parts or doing work yourself your only providing a how to. To be honest it seems bad practice for a forum a that why people are members. Most people contribute it different ways as part of the club.

It does mate but I wouldn't worry about it unless ur using letters that the anpr won't pick up. It's probably the only reason they put it on it. I've got my regi's chopped right down using standard letters and spacing. Been stopped and police haven't said a thing. A bs number( British standard) is a standard/recommendation it's not a law. If ur using lettering that isnt to standard then expect to get questioned

I really didn't enjoy driving my bros c4s. Seemed very cramped due to the back seats. Dash seems very low and my knees were catching the steering as I couldn't figure out how to adjust it. Porsches are beautiful to look at. I love the new boxers spider. Didn't like it on tv but seen one and It looked really cool. Reminds m of a small 911 gt (the fancy one that doesn't look like a 911)
