  7. well i had a thought on the sound front. my UK exhaust prob isnt loud enough to make a good recording on the little cameras so maybe get a dedicated sound recorder to stick next to the exhaust? and splice the recording into the video after? hmm

  10. Don't know where to get that camo stuff...cops will be around soon... google search sent me in to sniper rifles etc... hang on i will have a look... hmm its like duct tape, its mega wide sticks really well but doesnt leave any residue and doent rip the paint when it comes off. really great stuff. i dont know what its actually called but its also used to stick camouflage to secret vehicles. i had some laying about. Will normal duct tape work fine? The grey stuff... hmmm dunno how happy your paint will be

  14. i used car camo tape, the stuff they use to tape up panel gaps for top speed test runs etc i taped one under the rear number plate, worked perfectly, sound was decent taped one on the wheel arch behind the wheel worked well but needs some modification although sound was good, little wind noise taped to the outside of the wing mirror, video worked well, sound fail

  18. I was encouraged by my parents after passing my test at 17..............at the first attempt I must add ...........to continue with my driver training and I firstly completed "PASS PLUS" and then a further advanced driver training course with the Police. To be perfectly honest I think this kind of advanced training should be compulsory and if this isn't completed within 2 years for example then you lose your license and must start over again with the theory test and practical examinations etc. seems a good plan to me
  19. so who here got lessons on the motorway before they were given a licence to drive on them...? And we wonder why the driving standards are so pathetic in the UK, the methods of teaching and testing are just shoddy. Its nice to know that the first time a UK driver experiences loss of traction is while they head towards a tree in the rain or ice. The current testing system relies on luck not to leave people killed. People wonder why new drivers always crash? because they dont have the proper training, simple. EDIT: they are re-evaluating the speed limits daily and they are lowering them, rather than looking to the root cause of the danger.
