I think that the insurer told him that to replace the windscreen would normally cost £1500 which seems a bit too much......

I was talking to a new Zed owner today (hopefully a new member to be ) and he asked me how much a windscreen costs as his insurance quoted him a stupid ammount of money (£1500 if I'm not wrong) Any idea?

I'm looking for a guide with pics on how to remove the centre console of an 03 JDM with sat nav including the bit where the hand break up to the compartment just behind I had a look around with no luck but I seems to remember someone else asking for it. any idea?

First, I'm sorry if this is the wrong section but for some reason I couldn't start a new topic on the insurance section. Now.......... In the last few month I fitted some exterior mods like front bumper, spoiler and motorised number plate( dont think mirror cover and side indicator and de badging counts) also did some interior like, CF cover and new HU and when I bought the car it came with some upgraded springs. After reading trough a tread today I realised that I didnt declare anything on my insurance .. The Zed is the first car that I modifie and not sure what to expect. I'm insured with Direct Line ( 28 years old 5 years no claim), what sort of increase will I looking at? Should I declare small things like side inicators or mirror covers? Up grded springs or brakes should be declared?

they do, mine came with orange bulbs but I sure that those could be changed to any colour.

With this, stage 1 of my project it's done....... Side indicators ( the hold indicators will be removed and smoothen ).Exuse the state of the car, I've been trying to give her a good was for the last week but it always rain! This one arrived this morning and it will be fitted asap
