  1. Watching the 370z episode now. Is it me or are they trying to be too much like Clarkson with the stupid jokes but not actually being funny with them?

Yup and they're actually not that funny......perhaps need to watch a few more episodes to get a real feel for it!

One plus point is that in the first 2 episodes they have had some amazing motors......Lambo's now Zeds :#1:

  2. ARB bushes are pretty easy to change. If your changing the ARB droplinks its worth doing the bushes while your in there. Replace mine with some poly ones around £20 - £25 for them

Mike if I was looking to upgrade my rear ARB bushes and droplinks at the same time....which I am  what kinda price would I be looking to pay a garage to do this in one visit? (Parts and labour). Thanks

  3. I love my sessanta's......best choice I've made after actually purchasing my Zed ;)

Got these tyres on all 4 corners and feel they were a good mid priced option to cover me in all weather conditions and seasons.

My Zed is my daily driver and I unfortunately do not have the luxury of a spare set of winter rims and tyres so felt these would perform well enough in most conditions. Yes I'm sure there are better tyres but at this price nothing compares.

    Happy driving :teeth:

  4. I have a very large moat so to speak. ;)

And the only other person that'd dob you in is also on the forum - WIN WIN

    Now you realise why.

As for my addiction.....Im in Vegas right now and Im on here!

I told you....these moderators are a good bunch, even checking in when they're situated in a different continent  good effort.

  5. Nismo outgrew the zed before he was 6 months.

and a recent picture (11 months)

Wow...I've always wanted a husky and seeing this gorgeous example just makes it worse......currently got 2 cats (sadly lost our 3rd a few months back) and no kids but the wife and I are not home enough during the day to be able to have a dog like this in the family :( , just wouldn't be fair on them.

Nismo looks lovely......and clearly a "true gentleman" ;)

    4) Next using either an 8mm spanner (I used an 8mm halfords ratchet spanner) or a thin screwdriver turn the click wheel 1.5 to 2 full turns clockwise. This direction is relevant if you were looking directly at the hexagon of the bolt head it would be anti clockwise if you were stood at the front of the car and looking towards the windscreen.

So let me get this right (don't want to make them lower after all).......if I'm performing this alteration whilst standing leaning into the bonnet over the front bumper, facing towards the windscreen.....the bolt must be turned 1.5-2.0 turns clockwise?

Just do it facing a wall with your lights on and you will clearly see the beam moving up or down...

Good plan......thought of that when I was lying in bed last night!

  8. Tarmac there's certainly some strange suggestions coming across now but I think the two you were originally considering, the X5 or the Cayenne are the best in this bracket combining 4 x 4 capability, prestige, luxury and comfort.

My personal favourite with my short and limited driving of the two is the Cayenne is best if you're looking for prestige and the way it makes you grin whilst driving it..........on the other hand the X5 is superior in regards to the actual appearance. The Cayenne seems to sit just too high and miles above the road and rims (unless you put some 26" chrome spinners on  ) whilst the X5 with it's front bumper and step plates seems to sit less like a 'boat on wheels'! The handling on both is very similar but I feel the X5 has slightly less roll.

Good luck with the search
