and even then the boxes the cones sit in isnt 100% sealed so it would just suck air thorugh the gaps before it sucked water .

yeah heard it on youtube and found a thread on my350z that seemed to suggest good things . down side is funky power are the only people ive seen in Uk that sell it so if they havent bucked theyre ideas up i may have to drop another Pm to one of our US friends . thanks

Just got my Z back the guys at Japex ( I finally getting around to sorting my ticking time bomb), the guys did a great a job and got a plenum spacer added while the thing was in bits (thanks z store) now ive got the craving for new exhaust as the old one looks alittle worse for wear . seems the little plastic strap that holds it in place is no more if anyone has a spare sitting about cash waiting , no idea what theyre worth so may me an offer !

DO it ! think you should leave the arches blue though unless youve found a shop that can get the carbon to leave clean finsih to the body work without looking stuck on if you get my meaning. either way looking great(gives me ideas for my azure , which front lip is that ?)

will the vertically aimed box not cause all sorts of rattling trapped sound wave issues ? guess only real way to see how well it works is make it though . from what i can see id say your best option for full stealth install would be a fibreglass botom for an mdf box int he stock space either bolted or surcurely stuck down behind oem covers .

i had the sub out a the other but didnt see how the bose mounting plate comes out, anyone know ? looked room for a 10 maybe a small volume 12 if you were a lil crafty with the box design (fiberglass shaped to fill ALL the space) failnig that if you can do wiht out your glove box thingy get 2 10's boxed up one behind each seat and you have your self a massage seats !

Hi All i ahve had this little tapping problem for f ew weeks now and have finanly got hold of the AA for the cars warranty nd a they have said to get nissan or someon with AA aproval to fully diasnose/ put a finger on what it is (im prety sure from what nissan said when i manbged to get the them to take a look said its a valve worn/out of spec ) then get them to contact AA with the cars details and they will give the yay or ney to pay up. question is does anyone know ofa decnt tuner that could do the work and the AA be happy , tdi or abbey etc ? much sooner get them to do it as the AA say they wont pay for the diagnosis aka the pull the engine apart to confirm which is half the work !

how did the nissan mic hook up out of interest as i have yet to fit my jvc BT head unit and was hoping to do the same. as fro getting the handfress working its pretty much head unit dependant im afraid as with most cars , on the plus sides if you HU has got either blue tooth build in or input for an ad in unit (most do) then then it will mute wen you get calls , whats the HU ?

well i have a an avx 33 so single din but dvd m usb bluetooth etc great unit only thing that you may have is that my jvc takes quite a while to sort out what its doing when playing from usb but other than that i cant fault it, that looks liek anews unit so maybe the usb is faster. looks liek bargin for the price too my singeldin cost me that a couple of years back !

how does this apcking thingy come out , got the drivers side out ok but the passenger side is juts not budging . im looking to plan my install an really want to keep as much boot as pos , hence i can use some of the wasted sapce down there for an amp or sub box. also what are the specs for bose amp , if it cna be called an amp as i heard its not a really amp just a a bunch of aop amps working no reall power. thanks

not sure baout car parts but ive ordered all sorts of other items from litteraly all over the globe , japan , USA , and europe and this is what i ahve come to conclude ... pretty mucheverytime my items came via the airfreight super fast stuff (under a week from tokyo) i got stung for customs and gernally parcelfarce did the uk side and gipped for theyre "handling fee" when i came via slow up to 2 weeks mail ...... no charge ! after getting miffted at the parcelfarce depot ( its 5 mins from house and i didnt want wit extra days fro them to send me a ltter then deliver the item ) guy i asked why do i somtimes get stung fro vat on the order some time but not other (same supplier) i was told "the world pack air freight stuff gets checked by customs almost all the time , but they hardly bother with the slow stuff ". so if you dont mind a little wating whihc i dont on big orders then try and get its sent el cheapo post with insureance , might be lucky and get it sans tax.

really that loud ? which part would be making it so loud , im condiering a full system for mine . manifolds , Y , the lot but with hihg flow cats to make MOT's easyer .
