Fitted a small In-line switch to the power supply of the YAW sensor the other day. Never realised how much the TCS interfered with the drive of the car even when it was apparently turned off! I've left it completely turned off ever since. Probably one of my favourite, cheap modifications I have done! :D

More car parts are on their way as well. Watch this space B)

I did the same thing a few months ago only I cheated and bought a ready made kit from a member trader on here. Found it irritating how the stability control kept on intervening during play time so now it's permenantly off. Only thing now is, with the sticky tyres I have its highlighted how poor the stock lsd is and how the stock seats have very little lateral support. Time for an o's giken lsd, 3.9 fd and a pole position recaro seat.

  2. As Ekona said, the feel they give makes such a difference to how much confidence it gives you when cornering. Playing with pressures at the moment, with ambient temps at 24c ,I set the front and rears to 30 psi cold which when hot had risen to 34 front and 32 rear. Could do with some advice regarding pressures.

  3. Just been out in the mountains to see what difference a decent set of tyres make and I can confirm , it's alot. These tyres have way more grip than I have talent and it has made the car so much more fun to drive . Worth noting I went with 255/35/19 up front but kept the stock size rears.

Went from 350z. Had a civic beforehand. Thought about it for all of 4 weeks then bought one. Same goes with the 370. Went to see it at the show room then 2 months later got one. 370z was much smoother for me. 350 had a better seating position

Agree on the 370z seating position, it’s way too high

That's a fair coincidence, the same cars and in the same order as me haha, you've clearly got good taste

Although I am really eager for a porsche even just for a year then get a 370z. so if money allows I'll get a Cayman s if not a 370 and put porsche dreams on hold.

my s2000 never had issue at all  from 100k to 118k apart from a worn chain tensioner but you could remove the drive worm inside, sand blast it to rough it up again and put back together (a little tip i learnt off another owner, new ones were £270)

I had 52 reg with hardtop. Id have another one in a heartbeat, brilliant little car and better looking than the gen1 z4 or boxster competitors.

My s2000 was a 2007 model and under warranty it needed

    new clutch

    new engine short block

new VSC ECU (stability/traction control )

    hood catches

I must say Honda were superb in replacing the above and always gave me a courtesy car. I’d love a Porsche but scared of their durability and how much it will cost to keep it tip top. I live about 3 hours from the nearest Porsche dealer so a bit of a trek for a service. I did consider an e92 m3 but was not impressed with it compared to the e46, it was technically better in every way than the e46 but just felt a bit too refined for my taste. I also considered a z4m coupe but they are very rare and expensive here in Oz.

I’m loving the 370z and plan on keeping it for a long time. It recently went on a trip into the mountains with v8 mustangs, falcons, and utes, rx8 and focus rs and the z was superb especially the brakes . Usually I have my eye on a future replacement but for once I have no plans at all, the big Z is here to stay .

  6. Well the module finally made it here down under. I just finished fitting it and so far all seems good. Push the button and the lights on the dash light up telling me everything is off. Not had time to drive it yet but I don't anticipate any issues. Install instructions were excellent although I had to laugh as step 1 was to disconnect the battery and then step 2 said move the seat (electric ) all the way forward. Also you don't have to remove the gear knob  (I didnt) I just leant the back end of the centre column up against the passenger headrest and this gave me enough room to access the yaw control box.

Very impressed with the product and the service.
