I'm assuming your car was running 99ron fuel (Tesco Momentum/Shell V-power)
-
I seem to remember mine made 280ish bhp at the fly before Jez uprev'd it, after the uprev it gained about 20bhp and that is also on surrey rolling road so those figures do seem low. I'd be carrying out a compression check if it were my car
-
I had the same issue although mine has Hi flow cats which can cause the ECU to put up the same error code, I fitted a new sensor as I got fed up with keep on resetting the ecu and hey presto no more error code so I would say one of your o2 sensors needs changing (about £90 from ZMANALEX)
-
or Jez from Horsham developments, they both stock them and I've bought 02 sensors from both of them with very good service from them both
-
Your 1st Z, tis a wonderfull feeling, savour it
-
I'm assuming that you've already tried a different sensor and still got the same fault?
-
Thanks for all the comments (good and bad, they're all welcome ) I'm on lowering springs. I must post up some more recent pics now I've had chance to clean her up after winter.
-
Great pics but all the pics of your car are in the shade so you can't really see the shine on the paint or the wheels
-
Holy crap the underside of that car is clean

Bry,
Have spoken to Nissan.
Bank 2 is definetly right hand side. Need to try diagnostic check. Is this likely to help?
Ivor
Right rear as you look at the car would be the passenger side 02 sensor. It might be worth getting a Diagnostic check as it may be pure bad luck that another sensor has also gone ? If you live near Kent, I have a Code reader you could use or you could check the code your self by doing the pedal dance method.
-
Yes, so they say.
Bank 2 sensor 2 is the passenger side one furthest away from the engine have a look to see if it looks new just to confirm they've changed the correct one
-
Did the garage change the correct sensor ?
-
Turn it off and don't run it again until a proffessional can take a look at it for you as you may be doing more damage to the engine by running it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you with the AA etc ?
-
sorry but that sounds like big end bearings to me
-
Depends on what size tyres you use. I run 9.5x19 et12 245/35/19 and 11x19 et22 265/35/19 and have no rubbing, no arch rolling and my car is lowered.
I notice you have Varrstoens, I'm looking at getting exactly the same but in hyper silver.
I spoke to Peter from Varrstoen and he said they're unable to supply a 11 x 19 wheel in an offset of et22, only 11 x 19 in et15?
Must have stopped making the et22. You'll be ok with an et15 but you will have to roll the rear arches.
-
I've seen that car around Gravesend area before. Sainsbury's Pepperhill was mental yesterday with all the petrol panic buying

or Jez at Horsham developements. Alex can supply you an engine and Jez could possibly supply and fit a new engine for you.

Great news on your Purchase, get some pics up for us as we all love Pics I'm sure I'll find a job soon I've told the missus that the dog goes before the Z does
-
My 05 GM has only 18k miles on it and if I can't find a job soon (made redundant 2 weeks ago) I may have to sell her
-
You flashed me and I waved back, I see you had some aftermarket exhaust. I actually thought it was a 370 at first
-
Being made redundant on friday but still coming to the show, so just paid for my tickets(who needs food anyway), will prob have to get someone to tow me there to save on fuel costs
-
yup photobucket

some 2006 rev up engines have been known to burn excessive amounts of oil

Ok so the fuel shouldn't have been a problem, def do the compression test just to rule out any major mechanical faults
