My Cousin Joe set off for Euro Disney to get a job about 15 years ago and basically hasn't kept in touch with his family since then. After 9/11 his Mum and Dad were worried about him so asked the Salvation army if they could find out where in world he was, they eventually found him in Bulgaria. He sent a letter back to his parents saying he was slowly heading for Australia and that was the last they've heard from him. Once again they'd like to know if he is ok so does anyone know how they could find out where he may be (Salvation army had no luck this time) they don't have much money so must be a relatively simple way of doing it. I thought maybe the Home office could let his parents know where his passport was last used?

Wow those pics of your dog are stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Stuart a life Backwards" with Tom Hardy and the bloke who's name I can't pronounce Benedict Cumquat somethingorother
Great film

His puppy photo is sooo cute!!!!
Nah, he ugly
he's trying to do
dawg - but failing miserably - just too fluffy! I've been threatening Stew with stealing Oscar all week to get a fur fix - I think would even settle for a Newfie slobbery hug and I'm really not a doggy person!
He was 5 months old the last time I could give him a proper hug
Whilst you've got hold of him he makes a great duster

Oil and moly didn't help me. Still notchy and difficult in 2nd gear. Just a naff gearbox design I guess. If I had bought the car from new I would have sent it back and bought something else.
Strange as mines smooth as silk. How old is you clutch and clutch fluid as I've always found fresh fluid and a new clutch makes a huge difference, obviously a new clutch is a tad expensive but you'd be amazed at the difference fresh fluid makes
-
Good to hear that you eventually got round to this and that you are delighted with the results Bryan
I think that the Moly fluid would also be a contributing factor to the improvements achieved.
IMHO it is so important to use the genuine Nissan fluids
Well done mate
Alex.
Doubt it I forgot to take it with me
Might chuck it in my Rav4
Thanks for the oils and advice

Maximus is gorgeous.
Love the bib, what a great idea, one way to alleviate the dribble. One major bonus over there for Newfies, is it doesn't get hot over there, most of the time as it does in NZ. A few of my friends over here have to shave their Newfies bellies so they don't boil, thankfully we never had to do that with any of ours.
We visited a lady with three Newfies in oz a couple of years ago and we asked her how they coped with the Hot weather, she basicaly kept them inside during the day with the
AC on and only let them out early in the morning. She was more concerned about Snakes in her Garden than she was the Heat
If it does get too hot here then we just fill up a kiddies Paddling pool and let Maximus chill out in that
At the other end of scale when it Snows he's very handy at pulling sledges

Today I changed the G/bx and Diff oil (standard Nissan oils) didn't take too long as my mate let me use his Mot Pit at his nice and warm garage. I wasn't expecting any difference in gear change smoothness as my car has only done 17k but being 6 years old I thought I'd change it anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by how much smoother the gear change is now, I always thought that the gear selection was a bit heavy in it's action and slightly notchy but after coming from my S2000 which has probably the lightest most precise action on any car I've driven, I just put it down to that's how 350z box's are. The gear selection now takes alot less effort and has absolutely no notchyness(sp?) at all, it's not quite S2000 good but it ain't far off
The oil that came out of the box actually look really clean, still nice and golden and no mettalic flakes were visible in it. The diff oil was very dark and left lots of little mettalic flakes in the bottom of my drain bucket so definately needed changing.
If you haven't changed your G/box oil for a while or ever then I highly recommend doing it

Bry, when I was looking for a dog I considered a Newfoundland - theres a guy on the farm with one and I went along to a Newfy meet where there were loads of them. I think they're great dogs and yours sounds like he's got a good character. I decided against one in the end, just from the size / mess / slobber potential.
Luckily mine isn't much of a slobberer, unless he's hungry or thirsty or excited or tired or,,,,, well you get the point

Bry, Maximus is gorgeous, are they as soppy as they look? Lol
99% of Newfoundlands are but nobody told Maximus this, it's like he's had 10 cans of redbull everyday
They really are as soppy as they look. They're fantastic family dogs, and will sit and watch children and nose them back to where they're supposed to be, just like a parent human, but if someone threatens a member of the family, watch out, especially if it's a full grown male at around 90kgs and sporting that deep growl and bark. Thusly make great guard dogs, and sheerly the size of them scares most people away! They follow you around everywhere unless it's hot, then they'll hide in the shade.
Maximus looks like he's growing into those hooves nicely. How old is he now? Ever have trouble trying to get into the car without the Newfie wanting to sneak in??!!
He's 2 now although other than his size he acts exactly the same as when he was 2 months
Our last Newfy was the very definition of the breed, gentle, loving, intelligent and a total wuss (would stand there with a bemused look on his face whilst other dogs were swinging off his ears). Maximus is Newfy on the outside and Rottweiller on the inside
God help anyone that tried to hurt us or him
He is very loyal and follows us everywhere. He loves absolutely everyone and everything (except Hedgehogs, he can't work those out
) He absolutely adores water and will swim for hours if we let him. In a nutshell he's a typical Newfy except for the calm and gentle bit

I've just picked up a black lab puppy. My parents used to have a dog when I was a kid, this is the first I've looked after.
Arthur - about 9-10 weeks old:

GLWTS buddy
, I met the previous owner of your car at one of the South east meets and I remember him saying that they cost him more than that un refurbed with no tyres, I think he got them 2nd hand from japan. But they are a marmite wheel on the zed so If you don't have any joy here try some of the drifting forums
. Also where abouts in Kent are you based?
Tom
Yes that's right they cost him 2k inc a refurbed and that was without tyres(I paid £400 for just the front tyres)
If a fellow Z owner doesn't buy them then I'll try ebay. I live in Shorne near Cobham

I have just ordered my BBS Wheels (Varrstoen copies actually
) so will be needing to find a new home for my Current wheels. They are Work Meister 3 piece split rims in 9.5 x 18 et24 and 10.5 x 18 et28. They are fitted with Goodyear Eagle F1 245/35/18 tyres which are only 2 months old and only covered approx 500 miles. The rears are Avon ZZ3's with 265/35/18 and have approx 5mm of tread remaining. The fronts have a 5mm spacer to clear the brembo's (have about 2mm clearence). My car is lowered and I have no rubbing issues at all even when it had 265 and 285 tyres it still never rubbed.
The wheels are in excellent condition but that's not to say they are perfect. They were refurbished by the previous owner (not sure what company he used) the centers were done in light silver colour and the dishes/lips have been highly polished almost mirror finish. There are some imperfections beneath the painted parts of the wheels where the refurbisher hasn't rubbed them down properly but this is only noticable if you stick your nose right up close to the spokes. The very edge of the wheel lips all have faint evidence of where they've had light curb rash that's been machine polished out again it's not something you'd notice unless you get right in close but I'm being as honest as I can. One wheel has a very slight nic/dent in the very edge of the rim, again it's nothing major and I've taken a pic so you can see.
These wheels with tyres would set you back about £3000 new and very rarely ever come up for sale used so grab a bargain at £1200.
My new wheels won't be here for about 4 weeks so I'm happy to take a deposit to secure them or if somebody wants to loan me a set of wheels until my new ones arrive then they can have them now. Happy for people to come and view the wheels before they buy, I live in Kent but work in surrey.
Pm me or call me on 07894828345

1) my cosworth plenum
quote]
Are these much better than a plenum spacer? (sorry for the thred hijack
)
Best thing about the Zed is its Character (very important to me that a car has one
)
Negatives, could be lighter

I have one and it cost £685 from Toxic rides. The sound is glorious, with lots of pops, bangs and gurgles. Without the bungs in I would not attempt any long drive or dare to do an early start (neighbours would lynch me
) but with the bungs in you get exactly the same noises but on a more bareable level
I wouldn't change mine for anything
-
We dont do them any more I am afraid - they were too expensive for us to buy so people were just bringing them in cheaper from the states
ok ta
-
Currently I have these Work Meister alloys on
But would rather have these
-
Try one of the BMW forums.
Wrong PCD.
I'm asking here as Rarerims are a distributor for Varrstoen and Varrstoen make BBS LM copies and I'd like some
-
Can you get these as plenty of Z owners in the US have them?
How can I find where in the world a relative is?

I'm not on facebook but that doesn't mean I don't want to be found(he's not on facebook neither). There is no bad feeling between him and his family he just does his own thing and doesn't think about how worried his family are.
