Just spotted this zed at 11:15 on Aylestone Road ...

I had some removed on my zed as my passenger side door was covered in car park dings ... I'd definitely recommend calling in the pro's on this one ... it's amazing how they do it ... and a little scary too They usually have special offers on at events such as the Donny show etc ... so it might be worth waiting for something like that .. I was lucky as there was a dent master guy at the CS meet last year ... I got all the dents removed from my zed for £50 ... whereas it's usually about £50 a panel ... result!

I think it could be a little too far for you but I always use CS for all my zed related work .. They're based in Leicester, which is handy for me as I am too! I'm sure some other members around your area can recommend someone closer ..

Hahaha ... It sounds like you're trying to rob me ... I know brakes are one area of the car that you don't want to neglect ... I'm going to check my finances today and try and get the money together ... This might be a dumb question but if the pads were low, then shouldn't the squeal be louder when i apply the brakes? It's reversed in my case ... the squeal is almost constant unless I press the brake at which point it stops squealing...

I'm planning on changing the brake discs as well as the pads soon ... I noticed that there's quite a big lip on the front discs Only problem now is that I don't have the money to do it this month as I spent £500 on tyres and laser alignment etc last week ...

Hi, I recently had new tyres fitted last week and since then I've been hearing a high pitch squealing sound comming from the drivers-side wheel ... I'm almost certain that its brake related as it disappears when I apply the brakes ... I only have to apply the smallest amount of pressure on the brake pedal as it's gone ... It sounds like something is catching on the disc maybe as it gets quicker as I speed up ... it's not the loudest squeal ever, but it definitely is starting to annoy me now ... any ideas?

Where are those damn spotted stickers when you need them ... I've just downloaded the pdf and will be mass producing them for myself ... LoL

LoL Rtb will definitely vouch for them ... I had the laser alignment done today and they found nothing wrong ... in fact it was more or less bang on already ... So I'm now thinking that the previous owener must have had it corrected once the uneven tyre wear was evident... In any case I'm going to keep a close eye on the tyres to see if they are wearing unevenly again ...

I've gotta agree with everyone else who's commented .. I think it looks great apart from the Zed logo ... do you have the retractable cubby door ... if so then just never close it ...

I haven't got the answer to your question but I can tell you my experience on trying this .. I got the new key cut and then used the exisiting keyfob to unlock the vehicle ... using the new key I did the ignition on/off procedure bit and then pressed the buttons on the new key which was still in the ignition at the time .. The indicator lights flashed as it said but then the new wouldn't work ... so i thought I'd just leave it for another time .. but now the old key wasn't working either for some reason .. Anyway it it turned out that the transponder was active on the second key but the lock and unlock would only work from the old key. so I just opened up the keys and swapped the transponder chip over and I was back to square one ... LoL I think my issues were due to a dodgy keyfob though as the buttons on the new keyfob would work intermittently ... I dont think you can screw your car up from the key anyway .. if it all goes a bit wrong then re-do the procedure unitl it works .. that's what i did. I hope that helps.

So have you fitted your new airbox to your zed yet? If so, have you noticed any differences in the drive / performance?
