Hi peeps, Recently took my car to my local Ford garage for its service as a certain lady there has always looked after me, and while my zed was there, they mended a slow puncture on a rear i had for a while, but upon picking my zed up i noticed they had chipped the alloy so with no questions asked, Ford are now paying for ALL my wheels to be resprayed at the local repair center, Brian Tindalls (Hull) said they cant match one wheel so ALL will be done. Hi Peeps, I am having trouble getting my Bose head unit code as all UK nissan outlets tell me the unit doesnt exist on the system so i need to get in touch with Nissan Japan to see if anyone can help me otherwise i have a £600 door stopper I tried a few sites but cant translate anything, nor can google so if anyone can provide an email address i can write too for some help it would be most appreciated. My car is a UK car but the Bose system dont select CD's very well so i got a replacment unit from the company i bought the car from as it was a spare unit. But it must of come out of an import zed hence Nissan not recognising it. and they arent prepered to go that little extra mile to help me out hence my post here.

Yer i resolved the original unit after the new battery was fitted (clarified in the thread) but the code i need now is for the replacment one because the origianl dont select cd's properly. I will check out the pdf you attached, thanks matey ;p

Prestiege Performance near Howden ? like i said its one a gur swapped for a Pioneer unit and left the Bose one at Prestiege Performance, so it was just sitting around, hence why he let me have it ?

Hi all, thanks for reading. Recently got a replacment head unit from the company i bought my car from and Nissan say the unit doesnt exist ! Read that back and it dont mean sh1t !!! Ok, bought my Zed from Prestiege Performance and was super chuffed with it, The Bose system started to play up so i called the guy to see if he could help and indeed he did. He gave me a replacment unit out of another zed that another customer swapped for a Pioneer system...great !! trouble is he didnt have the code and the other car has now gone and cant get intouch to track it down so, i took it to Nissan and they said the unit doesnt exist on thier system so it must of come out of a non uk zed. So here is my problem, how do i get the code without going to some backstreet hifi place and being charged ? Any ideas will be most appreciated. Kindeast regards, Vale.

Hi, for some time now i have wondered what the little pads were for, either side of the center console, about knee level ! I did indeed think that they were for the comfort of your knee but i have discovered the true usage for these little padded friends. They are for the proper function of the Bose sound system..... let me explain. More often then not, my Bose sound system is well, lets say temperamental or to be honest.. a bag oh sh1te.. if the system even decides to select a track/cd it will jump, skip or just move on to the next cd giving up... untill now !!!!! 3 good thumps on either of the little pads and bingo, Bose works a treat and your little handy is unharmed Just goes to show dont it, things are never what they seem Thanks Nissan

To be honest i cant belive you put it up for sale in the state its in, stews right about a polish Personally i think Miltek is over priced anyhow, i would take the money and run
