  1. What a thought if you could replicate the fabulous Aston exhaust note in the "Z"
  2. Been round Knockhill with Alex & what he has is nicer looking as it is
  3. Looks good, happy about the 7speed tritronic as the manual has been a massive disappointment to me for 350 Now looks like the exhaust note is going to be a major disappointment on the 370 Nissan phoned to inform the nearest 370 will incur a 76mile round trip for a test drive :bye: Not that desperate, will hang on to my current roadster
  4. The best of the best mate, Enjoy your fantastic car Am I jealous!!! You bet
  5. My son put one on his P1 Sub. 6years ago & it was £500 fitted then plus £350 for 3years for their back up. Don't know what the cost is now. Like everything else it's only as good as the back up from the company who has supplied the tracker & as already said these professionals know where they are fitted so as to disable them. But as a deterent it will make you sleep at night. I think it's the best option available at the moment Irfan, But for you Jay, over 90% of the forum & myself over the yesrs spending £1000's on engine mods , body kits, wheels etc. As above you will sleep easier Plus you get a discount on your Insurance YOUR CHOICE
  6. What can I say to all your fantastic replies It's now Apparant, this is not an isolated case for "Z" or any other performance car owners. I know how I would feel especially the true comment from the wife "You love that car more than me" If nothing else I hope all the forum members who have read the post take note of all the comments & take nothing for granted, but it will be hard not to be cynical & still want to kill the b'stards if you caught them. I know I would.
  7. I had a drink for you when I read your earlier post ha ha Females are so good at telling porkies Oh well I'm the old fart who is paying the massive sum of £243 for insurance Just as well Im not under 25 & get quote £3000 then I would be heart attack material A few tasteful mods should boost that a little bit.

  9. Looks good Jay Bet your glad you took the advice on the rear bumper Look forward to seeing it in the flesh at the Hoon
  10. It's amazing what you find out when a @*!# thing like this happens to a friend. Always check your door handle after locking your car as these professionals have a "JAMMER" this devise stops you locking the car with your key fob & they only need to be a few yards away at the time. Hence your car aint locked no damage to get in!!!!!!!
  11. Welcome & yes it is addictive, A fantastic forum to be part of

  13. Thanks for that Jay, Can only hope with this post somebody saw the car on the truck, unless they not only took the number plates off or changed them, but also put a cover over the car.?
  14. Thanks for your comments guys The Sub, & Evo were on it ok the layby is popular for dog walkers. My mate usually takes his Jeep when dog walking but he is still a pup & fits the "Z" no problem. They must have followed him a fair distance as the car is always garaged & as the mileage suggests he only uses it like me in the summer months. I always remember when he bought the "Z" because he liked Asure so much he asked if it was ok to buy one the same colour as mine. He is a gentleman & doesnt deserve to be in this position. But as I have already said "BE ON YOUR GUARD"
  15. At first I wasn,t going to do this post, but as time goes on I am seething that your pride & joy is not safe with the standard alarm. My mate had not used his 12000mile Azure coupe GT for a couple of weeks & was itching to take the dog out & give it a blast. he spends like most of us hours & hours washing & polishing his pride & joy. Week past Thursday he drove from Crieff on route to Lochearnhead where on approaching St Fillans, where their are nice walks for the dog, he pulled into a layby. As he did so a subaru & evo parked in the other layby across the road & seconds later a breakdown truck also pulled into layby. Thinking nothing of it due to other petrol heads admiring you car went off with his dog. I think the next bit is self explanatory & you will have guest where the car went, when on his return with the dog, the 350z was not there anymore. No signs of damage broken glass, tyre rubber etc. They were professionals alright "THE SCUM OF THE EARTH" If anybody was in the reigon of Lochearnhead on Thursday 6th August & saw a breakdown truck with a blue 350GT coupe with the registration - -07 ZZZ on the back of it contact Crieff police & post to let everybody know we spot & look for other 350's on the road so as we can acknowledge other owners. If nothing else take note when you park your car NOT EVERYBODY IS ADMIRING THE Z FOR IT's LOOKS!!!
  16. Bloody fantastic, what an engine bay The car will still win many prizes
  17. Like the photo with the O/S/F wheel in the air!! edited by Stew to include the image.
  18. Yeah Derek conditions were great untill 5 pm and then the heavens opened. I was knackered by then, 247 laps, 240 litres of V Power, a set of tyres and brake pads. Was starting to get severe cramps in my hands and the hamstrings were tightening up and my neck and shoulders were aching. Besides the issue with that one boost pipe (now fixed) the car performed absolutely brilliantly. Like you say I was a bit surprised at the lack of interest from the local younger forum members but those that did make it including Steve and Claire had a real hoot. Oh and I think that Vik and her mate had some serious fun. Back out again on Monday night 6pm - 8pm ......... all welcome. I,m not surprised you were knackered after 247 laps, when I left it was about 70 or less It just goes to show how well the Z can perform under such stress Very obvious you are fitter than a " Quick Fit Fitter" Will phone you if I can make it
  19. Ideal conditions this morning Alex These young guys don't know what they are missing Glad Vik enjoyed the afternoon session, hope it stayed dry for you Derek
  20. You better believe it Don't know about being even though Might have the long hair but aint no Girlie xxx But then again like a thong ha ha Looking forward to seeing your bumper
  21. Yes they are a very good tyre - they are also very good value for money - a lot cheaper than Toyos or Yoko's but still made in Japan - so good sh**! Had mine over 12 months now and still going strong. Dont listen to the people who endlessly hark on about soft top cars being hairdressy or girlie - I suggest they speak to Zmanalex who has a 600bhp ragtop (the coupe cant take that kind of stress but the Ragtop can due to the extra reinforcements to the body Plus I would love to see someone call him a hairdresser or girl to his face! I have to say soft tops are rather girlie, but its all about preference mate, go for what ever catches your eye. Stan nae bother buddy, il tell that to alex lol. I love his zed, it is a beast but would love it more if it was a coupe. Also martins is nice as it looks aggressive. I think thats maybe why i dnt like the soft top as it is a little soft looking, however when modded they do look Thanks Jay You are off my Christmas List
  22. No probs, going up on the Sunday only. If your going for weekend you better get your skates on & get booked up as places will be limited
