Bloody love that movie. Chik chica boom, Chik chica boom! The missus has it on her iPod, I put it on full blast to take the pi££ out of loads of Chavs that were parked around my car in Argos Car park one evening. They're all there in their rusty BMW 316i's with LexARSE tail lights listening to some drum & base crap, I turn this on full blast & slowly pootle out of their circle Look on their faces was hysterical!

The problem basically was that the original JDM battery had run the course of it's life, I replaced it with a brit battery with the small connectors. Not enough power so all the electronic bits & bobs in the car were using more power than the car was putting back into it. They've put new connectors on it & retested the circuitry & no probs apparentally So my advice, if you've got a JDM & the batts giving up, get large connectors on it asap!

Ok, after 2 more months of getting really threaders with this problem (& dealing with work stuff lol) I decided to bite the bullet, empty my wallet & took it to my local Nissan dealer. I gave them a ring this morning to see how it was getting on & Pimm, you were completely right! They ordered in a 350Z battery which to their amazement DIDN'T fit my imported Z (Even though I did tell them it was an import). So they've basically replaced the connectors. Costing me a few quid, but at least it's sorted now. Only took 3 batteries aswell Cheers for the help guys & gals

I'm currently speaking to him on MSN. He's suggested a single donation to the clan of 30 euro's. This may sound a lot, but for what you're getting, it's not bad really . . . He says there's an easy way & a difficult way to get it up & running . . . The easy way is that you give him ftp access and he does it for you, which he's prepared to do. The difficult way is that he get an admin on msn and tell him what to change where. Also, these things usually take 2 hours easily, €30 isn't much for 2 hours work . . . Let me know if you'd be interested & If so, I can get the ball rolling. Obviously I've used this system, it's very good & useful. Cheers.

zmanalex is a member on this forum .... the Ebay site lights appear to be the same and a very good price .... maybe too good ? I think there is alot of messing about with connectors on those...I am sure someone brought a set off here and had to hard wire them in... The eyelids are best brought from ebay us...look for "350z aut eyelid" they offer a painted and non-painted set. Those are the ones that most of the guys on my350z use and are supposed to be very good quality Thanks to this thread & your info bhavin85, I've just ordered a set of these. Shipping's quite costly but I couldn't refuse a set of pre-painted eyelids I'll let you know how it all goes

Ok, one of the guys actually made it! I've spoken to him & for a small donation to the clan (We run our own dedicated servers, these cost money ). He'll do it for 350Z-UK.com. I've got to catch him on MSN tonight to go over details & I'll let you know more then I do have some uses . . . .

I work 10 miles away & cycle in most days. If you do cycle in, it's worth getting a decent road bike. I spent £600 on mine & apart from a few current niggles, it's awesome. Fast too once you're a bit conditioned. I was in the same situation mate, but decided to keep the Z & plod along with low spending money

What about this? I'm part of a gaming clan, we play matches against other clans. We have a system on our forum where we can "sign up" to a match automatically. Well the issue is, for £900 I'd struggle to find a decent set of 18's with tyres that I like, let alone a rather nice set of 20's with tyres in good nick. 20's wouldn't be an issue if these wheels go to someone else, I wouldn't be able to afford a new set of 20's & this thread would have been for nothing save a bit of education lol.

This is a very important quote. Buy cheap, buy twice. I absolutely HATE to see people on here buying cheap wheels and tyres. I agree! Trouble is I don't know what's high quality & what's not . . .

This is why I'm asking on here. Any muppet can google it, but you only get a fraction of the info you're probably looking for. On this site, there's a diverse amount of knowledge about this stuff, not just "I like them because they're shiny". I still can't decide though. Those 20"s seem a good deal & I do quite like them. I can't figure out if it'd be worth it though . . . . & I understand what you mean about quality Ian lol. I bought some Wolfrace Hustles for my old Calibra.
