Okay, so I popped down to the local Halfords this morning, saw what they had. The one that really caught my eye was a Pioneer unit. Satnav (Better than a Tomtom apparently), Dvd player, Phone bluetooth connectivity, iPod conrol thingy & it was £772 plus £60 for fitting (As Imports need a bit more fidling about apparently) & It fits into the flippy down lid cubby hole! Opinions?

Cheers guys. Really glad I got a pearlescent white one. Wanted to be sure that I got one I wanted, was either going to be Black (I really like black Z's!) That Metallic blue or white, almost got an orange one, but it was tiptronic (I like changing gears!). Hehe Yeah me insurance is a bit . . . . . . cheeky, shall we say. . . . . The pisstake is I got a quote 4 months ago-ish for an imported Z bit newer, etc. & it was HALF what I'm now paying . . . F***ers . . . But it should drop shed loads next year apparently. Don't really mind though as fortunatly my jobs safe, I'm reasonably well paid & the defense budget won't change! Hehe! Just cant really mod it due to the fact the insurance will kill me . . . literally!

I've just noticed other nissan oc's are attendig also. A friend (who actually got me ito loving jap cars) owns a s14a, is there a sx oc attending?

Very nice fiddy! looking at something similar (engine dress up wise) for mine. Really like the Carbon interior bits. Never seen that bodykit before either, very funky!

I've seen some Dvd & SatNav installs in Z's, My recently purchased Jap import doesn't have said setup (Just the standard Bose sound system), where can I get the setup from (I understand it's an optional extra when you purchase a Z new) & roughly how much would it cost? Another thing, if I chaged my standard head unit, do I have to change all the speakers etc?? I've heard you need to do this on Jap imports, although it may be bull . . .

Been to Billing on a different-car-owners-club-meet & it's a really nice camp site! The actual meet was pretty boring though (granted the cars were vauxhall calibra's! Not entirely sure which company imported her, the chap that previusly owned her had it imported specially for him. He seemed a good bloke & took damn good care of her (which is what I was after more than anything). Always loved Z's, never thought I'd ever own one! Feel very lucky!

Hello everyone! I'm Chris (or Millsy, eithers cool ). I'm 23, in the Armed forces. My recently aquired z was actually bought off Pistonheads.com, from a member off here I believe. I've only had it less than a week & already I love it! I've been a member of an owners club before & that was extremly useful & I'm hoping the same from this. I'll do my best to attend meets etc (I've already got my eye on the Billing meet! Not far from me) & I'll do my best to keep spamming to zilch. SO! I hope I'll be welcome!
