  1. As above guys - the wife and I really enjoyed the day. Many thanks to all concerned. Shame about Sunset's Zed - obviously glad both passengers are OK though. Particularly enjoyed the run between Bala and Ffestiniog! Apologies to the 17 or so Zeds that mistakenly followed us around the first roundabout from the Chester services - the 720 degree detour did look impressive however! Absolutely shattered here - even the luxury of a Macdonald Portal stopover the night before didn't help. Would have welcomed an opportunity for all the members to introduce themselves however . . . . Huge thanks to the organisers - fab meal, excellent locations for photos, ace combo of drives (driving and posing) and accomplished liaison with our good friends from the Police at Chester!
  2. I wouldn't buy it - the leather looks blurry
  3. Yep - agree with many posters here. I thought the orange leather was awful when I first saw it but I genuinely think it looks fab in my GM now. Also, as another contributor noted, I've followed on from the previous owner and regularly apply leather cream.
  4. Zed looking absolutely superb though Shire - nice one!
  5. I don't even know where the engine is, let alone have any desire to clean it
  6. Now try the bowl of crisps on top. Waiting to be well impressed in deepest, darkest South Wales . . . . .
  7. Voila - Fibonacci - 1,1,2,3,5,8,13 (ish)
  8. Correct. I speak fluent Polish and know all the words to American Pie after 15 pints. No one else seems to know what I'm saying however.
  9. Would have thought Zed drivers would be on something more volatile than 4.1% Carling I'd Google "Fibonacci" to help out with this one . . .
  10. On a far less sophisticated level, my car reads an average of 30.4 mpg over the albeit brief time of ownership (just over a month). Interestingly, I did a return trip to London yesterday (about 300 miles) and it registered 34.6 mpg. I can certainly live with 30+ mpg - a bit of a difference from my previous car though - a 1.4 TDCi Fiesta! Have you experienced any difference when using unleaded / super unleaded juice?
  11. They look better than my wheels! Hope someone can help u out with the Wales meet.
  12. Still laughing at Pooh - classic!
  13. maestegman = church village (just to confuse things)
  14. Panicing here - I'm coming with no mods whatsoever!
  15. I like the Mr. Muscle - have you added an oven in the boot as the ultimate mod? I've included my actual before and after car cleaning products below.
  16. Thanks again guys. Looking forward to picking some brains at the North Wales meet. Maybe I'll pluck up enough courage to clay the car beforehand Sounds like another trip to Halfords tomorrow to get hold of some AG Engine Cleaner
  17. That IS a good deal Chris. All of our vouchers go on theme park tickets and RAC membership.
  18. Many thanks for the encouraging words and advice (again) guys/gals - it is hugely appreciated. I'll give claying a go soon. It just looked a bit technical for a detailing virgin! One thing guys - I've managed to stain my driveway with Tyre Shine. Any recommendations as to how to remove the marks? I've also noticed that the interior is a bit blotchy after cleaning with Poorboys Natural Dressing. Any ideas? (It does smell fantastic though!)
  19. LOL. I don't bother with super unleaded. My Zed gets rocket fuel. I suspect that even high octane space juice costs less than the amount I've just spent on cleaning products!
  20. Hotel site shows £156 for B&B for 2 so well happy. Will cost £490 in petrol though
  21. Yep. Special "mystery hotel" price through lastminute. £60 for 2 people for room only or £78 with brekkie.
