Now that we are stepping into December, I thought I will post up that I will review the offer at the end of the year. So the current £100 Off will stand until the end of December, after that I will decide what to do. If anyone are interested in getting into the deal and need a bit more time, drop me a PM and I'll arrange something.

Any pictures? How are you finding them in the current cold climate?

Just had been inform that the webshop SSL certificate expired. The certificate had been renew and all is working now. So if anyone tried to place an order in the past few days and had concern because they got a warning message. That had been rectified now. If anyone got any questions, just drop me an E-mail at info@meisterr.com

That'll be me . They're my second set of MeisterR coilovers as I regretibly sold the first set off my old Z to Wasso (who incidentally seems very happy with them) rather than keeping them for my current Z. Looking forward to getting them fitted. Remember to post up some pictures and give us some of your impression after fitting the coilovers.

One thing to add is that springs rate isn't a good indication of road comfort. As the ride characteristic are largely determined by the damper valving characteristic. For example, if you run a very soft springs and a very harsh damper valving. You will have a car that will roll (as the springs rate determine the amount of body movement you will get) but also have a very harsh ride (as the damper force will stop the chassis from moving). It is a bit of balancing act, but some people think that softer springs rate is always going to be a softer ride... I just thought I bring it up that it isn't always the case.

Another set went out to another members. Anyone else interested, still have them in stock.

Depending on what you are looking for, we have the Zeta-S and Zeta-R. The Zeta-S use the standard OEM inboard springs setup, and works well as an all rounder. The Zeta-R change the rear setup to an "True Coilovers" design. This allow a bit more control in the rear as it is much easier to change springs to the rate that you want. Also give the option of removing the spring bucket for a adjustable toe arm. The 350Z suspension is actually very long standard, so ride height adjustments will not be a problem. We design our suspension with a bit softer low speed valving to give a more compliant and comfortable ride. But we have enough damping adjustments build in so you can stiffen the chassis up for those occasional track days. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me, I have both in stock at the moment.

Thats correct, the Zeta-S is OEM style with the inboard springs. And damping adjuster are available. Best REgards, Jerrick

No concerns, it handles perfectly! Good to hear that. Just to mention the offer is still running. Most model in stock if anyone is interested.

It's had an alignment! Does it feel odd then... if you have concerns let me know. That is what I am here for. Pop me an E-mail at info@meisterr.com I regularly drive pass J6 on the M25 anyways, so if you are near I have no problem meeting up and give some opinion should you need any help.
-
I see, well at least you are happy with the Zeta-S coilovers so that is good. An alignment and it should be good as good. This weekend is suppose to be sunny, but might be a bit cold.

Offer is still on. Haydn, got anymore pictures of your Z?

Is it just an reinforcement bar? Is it part of the subframe? Is it even needed there? Not something I come across personally. Good luck, and let us know how you get on.

The 2 products I can offer to the 370Z community... Performance coilovers, and custom made exhaust system. Just wondering if there are any interests? Coilovers are pretty self explanatory, typical MeisterR performance. Exhaust is a bit more complex, as we build ours in the UK and therefore are free to design an exhaust from scratch. Here is a video of our now finish exhaust for the R35 GTR. If we do decide to build an exhaust for the 370Z, it won't cost as much as the GTR as it won't be as complicated. Just wondering what are the general interests in something custom and high quality in the 370Z community.

Get it done, always should be done after suspension change. Sometime you can get away with it... but most time than not, the alignment will be out. And the further the alignment is out, the bigger the performance difference when you get the alignment corrected. Are you sure Abbey didn't do an alignment? I thought they have a 4 wheel laser tracker in house?

Well, a quick look at a Whiteline Adjustable Rear Anti-Roll Bar is around £170. So that is the cost of parts I am assuming... I am assuming that is the part... can't think of any other Anti-Twist / Tie-Rod Bar.
-
We have the MeisterR Zeta-S also, and there is £100 off for 350Z members. We will also have front / rear camber arms in stock shortly. The front can be useful, but there are adjustments in the rear camber so it is fine if you aren't going super low.

There will be a big Honda Meet at South Mimms Service Station [J23 on M25] on Sunday the 14th of October. If you want some FREE MeisterR stickers, please feel free to drop by and collect them. I will be there displaying the MeisterR coilovers and also the MeisterR R35 GTR Exhaust Just look for the Black MeisterR R35 GTR. The meet start at 2pm, and there is a 2 hours parking limit at the South Mimms Service Station. If you want to stay longer than 2 hours, make register your number plate FREE at the Days Inn hotel within 2 hours of arrival. Hope to see you there, and would love to have a chat as always.

That does look very good, if you need some stickers just let me know. I pass by Abbey quite often, actually due to meet someone soon to get some feedback on the Prototype SRV Coilovers for R35 GTR. Glad you are enjoying the suspension, the car should feel much more planted than before now.

A bit of thread revival as I am sure the OP have got it sorted now. But I just thought I mention that coilovers DOES NOT have to be harsh. That depends on how the dampers are design. What you find alot of time is owners get £1000 JDM Racing coilovers. Slap it on a car and wonder why it is rock solid... That was because the suspension was design for racing and not on bumpy uneven country roads. Suspension have to be compliant, the comfort of a good suspension and performance comes hand in hand. When the suspension soak up the bumps, it mean your wheel are touching the ground so it provide traction. And that is ultimately what you are looking for from a good set of performance suspension. Lowering, looking nice, less body roll, better predictability, and more confidence are just part of the package.
-
Well, if you can't find any but need some, just let me know. I was thinking pictures of your car now and how it sit. The most important thing is that you are enjoying the car.

I personally like the look of a lowered Zed. If you are looking for just springs, Eibach Pro-Kit would be my choice. They are high quality, and also know how to wound progressive rate springs very well. The problem with lowering springs is "what you see is what you get", there are no control over where the car sit. And also, you are reusing the standard dampers (which can be 10 years old now in some cases), so they may not provide optimum performance. If you are looking for coilovers, then coilovers like the MeisterR Zeta-S would be a good choice. They replace the suspension with adjustable mono-tube dampers and linear rate springs. This make weight transfer much smoother, meaning great driver confidence. The mono-tube dampers provide better damping sensitivity and better steering response. And the adjustments allows you to control the ride quality and bias of the suspension. Unlike lowering springs, the ride height is adjustable so you can set the suspension to where you like it. You might not want to too low if you have loads of speed bumps around where you life... or you want it lower for the looks. What that mean is you have total control over the ride height and ride quality, along with the added benefit of controlling your desired ride height. One thing I do need to bring up is that after installing coilovers (or any suspension component), you should have your alignment check and setup. Because the best suspension in the world will drive rubbish if the wheels aren't pointing to the right direction.

Good to hear that, any pictures. Did you get any stickers? I put a few in the box. Glad you are happy with them.

Sorry, don't have anything for Jaguar. On things like this, OEM supplier is going to be the best bet (Koni, Bilstein, H&R). I can supply them, but nothing in the MeisterR line for the XKR.
