  4. Blimey, are you sure its not wedged onto the pavement in that piccy?! It looks Tight!!
  5. A few things ive noticed whie driving my Zed, The heated seat switches are placed conviently, so when i drive with my hand on the gear lever i keep accidently swiching them on with my elbow! And a squeeky seatbealt tensioner right in my ear! Needs some WD40!!
  6. It looks tidy, Similar to the one I bought last week for Price/Mileage/Spec. I can see its quite a road trip for you. I would email him and ask for a few pictures of the interior. Get a photo of the milage on the clock and some shots of the drivers seat and look for excessive wear. Also make sure its HPI free, and ask if its been in an accident. If you go to view it look for any colour variation in the panels and overspray. Or if you dont know too much about what to look for get an AA road report done on the car for piece of mind. Its a long way to drive and alot of money to spend so get as much information out of the seller about the car before you go to view it.
  7. When i took my Zed out for a test drive last week I stalled it at the first Junction and looked like a right newbie! It took me a mile or two to get used to the clutch but i had the excuse of owning a semi automatic for the past 3.5 years! oh and to the Forum!

    350Z prices

Yep all you can do is try and not rush onto buying the first car you see. Think about what type of car you want and have a budget in mind and dont exceed it. It took me 5 months to find and buy my 1st Zed which i picked up last weekend. I got a UK 350z Including the GT Pack for £9150 with just under 30,000 miles on the clock. Its absolutely mint! I really hassled the saleman at the garage and screwed him right down on the price. It was listed at £9995 as they didnt realise it was the GT Pack. There are some good deals to be found at the moment and an element of luck to be in the right place at the right time. The Zed I bought had only just come into the garage and within 3 days i'd put a deposit down on it. Im sure at that price it wouldn't have been long before someone else would have snapped it up! I think the 370 will have a small impact on the prices so you could wait until then and save yourself a few more pounds, it just depends how desperate to own a zed. I was prepared to wait until I found exactly what i wanted because spending 10 grand on a car is a hell of alot of cash so you have to make sure its the right car for you. You definitely won't be disappointed! The Zed's are fantastic in all departments and im very suprised with the MPG im getting driving steady to and from work each day!!

I love those badges you have on your zed! Im after a pair...searching ebay as we speak!
  11. I picked my 350z up on saturday and the airbag light decided to start flashing that evening when someone got out the passenger side. Anyway I've reset it now using the above method and would be very interested to know if its a problem or just a fault? The car was only serviced 1000 miles ago.
  12. Make sure you go for the top spec most expensive car they have on the list, then drive it round like an idiot...plenty of doughnuts in and out of the car and return it in the same state as their wonderful BMW they tried to fob off on you...what a disgrace!
  13. Sweet! Didn't notice the black roof too! I hope my Zed will aspire to look that good in a few months time, Very Nice!.
  14. Wow, the Gunmetal 350z with the Nismo spoiler looks awesome sprayed two tone.
  15. Very tidy install, I love the headunit you have. Hopefully I'll replace my BOSE system in a couple of months...Obviously not me personally but someone who knows what their doing!!
  16. Thanks Stew...I'm still finding my way around the forums, so much information to read!!
  17. nice looking car! Love the interior...oh and
  18. I feel sick, i just paid £99 for mine! very nice price at £62!
  19. Go for the Manual! I owned a Mitsu FTO Tiptronic for about 3 years which i've just sold and bought my first 350z (Manual). The tip is nice but it makes you incredibly lazy when driving and for the past year the FTO became very boring to drive. If you buy one you wont be disappointed but im sure the novelty will wear off over time.
  20. Hey peeps! Im interested to know what the difference is between the 350z and the 350z Fairlady. I've have a look round the net but there seems to be a lot of conflicting information. Is it mainly body styling or are there performance differences or both? Do all the Fairladys have the square plate at the back as there from Japan? Any help appreciated!
