Yep all you can do is try and not rush onto buying the first car you see. Think about what type of car you want and have a budget in mind and dont exceed it. It took me 5 months to find and buy my 1st Zed which i picked up last weekend. I got a UK 350z Including the GT Pack for £9150 with just under 30,000 miles on the clock. Its absolutely mint! I really hassled the saleman at the garage and screwed him right down on the price. It was listed at £9995 as they didnt realise it was the GT Pack. There are some good deals to be found at the moment and an element of luck to be in the right place at the right time. The Zed I bought had only just come into the garage and within 3 days i'd put a deposit down on it. Im sure at that price it wouldn't have been long before someone else would have snapped it up! I think the 370 will have a small impact on the prices so you could wait until then and save yourself a few more pounds, it just depends how desperate to own a zed. I was prepared to wait until I found exactly what i wanted because spending 10 grand on a car is a hell of alot of cash so you have to make sure its the right car for you. You definitely won't be disappointed! The Zed's are fantastic in all departments and im very suprised with the MPG im getting driving steady to and from work each day!!

I picked my 350z up on saturday and the airbag light decided to start flashing that evening when someone got out the passenger side. Anyway I've reset it now using the above method and would be very interested to know if its a problem or just a fault? The car was only serviced 1000 miles ago.

Make sure you go for the top spec most expensive car they have on the list, then drive it round like an idiot...plenty of doughnuts in and out of the car and return it in the same state as their wonderful BMW they tried to fob off on you...what a disgrace!

Very tidy install, I love the headunit you have. Hopefully I'll replace my BOSE system in a couple of months...Obviously not me personally but someone who knows what their doing!!

Go for the Manual! I owned a Mitsu FTO Tiptronic for about 3 years which i've just sold and bought my first 350z (Manual). The tip is nice but it makes you incredibly lazy when driving and for the past year the FTO became very boring to drive. If you buy one you wont be disappointed but im sure the novelty will wear off over time.

Hey peeps! Im interested to know what the difference is between the 350z and the 350z Fairlady. I've have a look round the net but there seems to be a lot of conflicting information. Is it mainly body styling or are there performance differences or both? Do all the Fairladys have the square plate at the back as there from Japan? Any help appreciated!

The first thing i have to change on my Zed is the huge aerial resembling something from a radio controlled car! I've had a look on ebay but i dont want to buy something cheap and nasty that doesn't work very well as all the ones listed as been 350z compatible are only about 2-3 quid! Am i right in thiking the Honda S2000 Aerial fits the Zed? Is this the aerial of choice? -Matt

I know, i saw the car advertised in the paper and went to see it last Sunday. When I arrived the car was nowhere to be seen and i was thinking they had sold it. So i decided to ask and was told the car had just come in and was out the back ready to be cleaned and valeted before been put on the showroom floor. None of the salesmen knew anything about it as it was a Vauxhall garage i bought it from. I asked the salesman if he was sure it was the GT Pack version so he had a look on Auto Trader as i sat waiting. You should have seen his face when the cheapest GT Pack he found was £10995 with over 70k on the clock! They had this one up for £9995 and managed to screw him right down on the price today! I think he gave me it cheap just to get rid of me!! the extra cash I saved on the purchase will go towards a V1 Nismo Spoiler, new alloys and Double Din Unit in the next few weeks so stay tuned Thanks for the friendly welcome, very nice forum and community you have here! -Matt

After a quick searh i've found the Nissan 350z Bluetooth Adapter on Ebay for about £100.00 (I take it this is the right one i need) Are there any traders on the forums that i could buy one off? Cheers

Im 31 and live in Lincolnshire, not sure if there are any other Lincs 350z Owners out here in the sticks! Anyway! I have just bought my 1st 350z today and im chuffed to bits. I paid £9150 for a late 03 plate registered in Dec 03. Its only done a shade under 30,000 miles and comes with the GT Pack. Heres afew piccies i took before i left the garage today.... i pick her up on Saturday and i cant bloody wait!!

Hey Has anyone purchased any custom carmats for the 350z from the internet? I had some made for my FTO for about £100 but i cant for the life of me remember which site it was. I've had a look at a few sites on the net but the mats look a bit cheap and nasty. I dont mind paying good money for a decent pair of mats if there well made and last me a year or so.

I should really go to bed but cant stop reading about the 350z! lol! I best not seem too keen tomorrow at the dealership as i think i can knock him down a touch more Anyway...I was just wondering if the BOSE system likes to play mp3's burnt to CD from a PC? as i've had head units in the past that wont play them! (namely the factory fitted ones). If its possible i might hold off on the Kenwood double din for a couple of months.

Seems like a good deal as all the others i've seen start at around £10995. its a late 03 model reg dec 03 and its definitely the GT pack version going on all the info you guys gave me. Oh and in the arm rest there's an adaptor for a phone hidden in the cubby hole. I noticed its for a particular nokia phone (which i dont own) . Is it easy to replace this with something i can use with my existing phone.?
