Sorry for reserrecting an old thread but has anyone fitted a Dastek Unichip yet and did you see any noticable gains in power/torque? I thought a Unichip would be a far cheaper alternative to going Haltech. Thanks. -

Yeah first time Ive noticed the profiles were different Nope the TC does not kick in.

LOL Ive just had a 2nd look - 35 profile on the front and 30 profile on the rear, maybe thats why it appears to be slightly higher at the rear.

Yeah guys it sits very slightly higher at the back, here it is on flat ground. The car is running on Bilstien suspension. Tyre sizes are 245/35/20 front and 275/35/20 on the rear

Yup but Simon doesnt sell them no more, he still maps them. He pointed me towards the place that sells them for just over the £900 mark. other places Ive looked sell them for over £1300 Might be worth doing if you get a 30-40bhp gain.

Yeah Ive read that before as i'll be buying a Haltech at some point. It would be good to know the gains with the above mods mentioned, see if its worth going to all the expense.
