So far I've had nothing but a great experience dealing with people off these forums.
That sounds a bit ominous
Have you been talking to my friend from Sweden ?
Well, you know...Sweden...it gets cold up there.....brainfreezes are likely to happen....
No harm intended with that comment btw...

I am going to sell the Z and get a 4x4 and then a boat for the weekends
You never know, maybe Nissan will go nuts one day like Porsche did and build a 350Z on top of a 4X4 chassis.... (Porsche Cayennes are the ugliest things EVER!)

My place of work is asking for people for voluntary reduction in hours or even voluntary terminations.
Doubt it will get any takers tho.

Great thanks goes out to ZMANALEX, he's orted me out with the spare part I need and it should (fingers crossed) arrive tomorrow.

Thanks to all

I undid all the clips anf bolts that hold the original airstuff down, then didn't realize that there are two prongs on the bottom of the original airbox.
I pulled it up and saw there was only a tiny tiny bit and it would be free, so I pulled it a little higher to clear and that's when I heard the "snap"....

I did notice on my routine drive from work home, that a particular straight section was covered in a much shorter time than usual.
This was at 4am with no other traffic and when I noticed that the straight section was ending sooner than usual I glanced at my speedo, only to find that it was showing 150!!!

It seems to be the case, personally I like the original.

Likewise kind sir...

You have PM ZMANALEX

Received the InvoAuto induction kit sold to me by sunset350z on Saturday.
Got carded by Royal Mail and picked it up on Monday, but due to adverse weather I only got around to fitting it now (after a 12 hour night shift no less )
Before
After
But I made a little ****-up while removing the original airbox and damaged the tubing that holds the mass air sensor...
Does anybody know whether Nissan charge a small fortune for this part or can either ZMANALEX or R35LEE help me out?
Thanks,
Mark

You should tell them to put it right, it's not acceptable as it is now
-
But secretly I reckon people call it "Yeah, it's his shiny new penis"...but never to your face tho, lol
-
I'll see if I can be there for about 6:30pm and await the masses.

I reckon that's nurrish's secret batcave....
Make sure you end up painting the whole wheel rather than just the faces, and I do mean taking off the tyres and spraying them complete.
Reason is that it makes a complete coat and reduces the chances of peeling, flaking or bubbeling, because there is no edge for for anything to get under.
My bro has a set of PVM wheels for his CBR600, which are powdercoated black, but on one of the edges (the surface that faces the hub when mounting) had chipped a little, but the knock on effect was that the powder coat damage got more and more. Harris UK thankfully replaced the wheels with a new set free of charge, because the manager took a look at them and instantly said that the powdercoat looked off. PVMs are made to order and hence the £1000 pricetag per pair.
But other than that, it's looking good.

BTW, what time shall we meet up before going to the entry gates?
-
Nice Zed my man.
When you bought your second Zed, did you hear a faint Homer Simpson voice saying "I knew you'd be back..." in the background?
-
You could ask the people arriving at the gate if they belong to a community/club and then point them to a designated area perhaps?
That would help me a great deal as this will be my first meet and I don't know anybody yet.
-
Ah......a possibility.
Can anyone point me in the direction of buying a cheap undertray and archliners?/.....scrap or whatever?
Best ask ZMANALEX or R35LEE for items like that.

Get you deposit back.
+1
Just say you got a better deal elsewhere.
You'll either get your deposit back or a better deal on the one you put a deposit on. Either way it's a win - win situation.

also remember that a 5 day transfer means working days only, so can actually take longer if weekends are involved.
In the end, just keep a cool head, unfortunately the whole world ain't a Burger King and we won't always have it our way...

Like what the hell is a G-Spot?....Is it something you find at the apex of a corner?
-
We done that at a LAN party once and we got a guy to dress up in a semi see thru dress and a thong 2 sizes too small....not a pretty sight I may add.....rofl
-
Tell you what...I'll be driving a 350Z if that helps.....
Newbie wonders what you guy's to for a living?

I see those tugs everyday where I work.
I'm a Berth Operator at the Port Of Felixstowe.
Nothing to do with berthing vessels or giving birth to ships.
Us Berth-Ops usually go up onto container vessels and do all the lashing work and the quay work.
