Well, I had your best interests in mind....hehe
-
Just done the counterweight removal thing and it's deffo made a difference, my car has ceased to try and eat me.
But I'll keep my interest for those replacement struts in the future, possibly get a set after the summer.

If your really bored Jay, smooth the covers over nd then paint them with a carbon fibre effect, lol

Pity you cannot modify the voice itself, imagine the possibilities.
Mr.T voice "Who you wanna call, fool?"

Thanks guys, will give it a blast tmrw morning.
On the same note, is it normal that the drivers side light cutoff is flat with the car, like _________
but the passengers side light cutoff on the road is more slanty like \
From what I know, the lights are like that so you don't shine your light into oncoming drivers faces and blind them.

...and nobody mentions the great ass @ 47secs?
-
Sadly it doesn't have any effect on me, because I'm actually fluent in german (grew up over there) and can actually understand why Hitler is loosing his rag (something about the eastern front, wishing death to Stalin and wanting his enemies to die chocking on their own blood and such)
-
Just had a nice phoneconvo with Lee.
Thanks all involved, I can see being a Zed driver definately has it's benefits.
I'm loving these forums and the community even more now.

Nice case BM, used to do a bit of case modding myself, wrecked an original athlon on a watercooling setup, homemade block came away from the cpu. Keep it simple these days (and nice and quiet)
Thanks.
I still got a machine with a AthlonXP 3200+ Barton core, mostly for archiving tho.
For anybody that's interested, my buildlog for my watercooled system can be found here: http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/forums/ ... php?t=3697

Thanks Stew,
just fired off a PM to R35LEE, see what happens, if non fruitful, I'll try ZMANALEX
*edit*
Damn, gotta get used to people posting as fast as they drive their Zeds.....
Cheers for the reply ZMANALEX

rtbiscuit...I'm from Ipswich too, lol
I was gonna use Lorven Performance Services in Martlesham, but it seems they closed shop and moved, but I dunno if they ceased altogether or not.
They were good imo, cos they did do the Tein Suspension on my Honda Prelude.
They used to share the workshop with Hangar 11, the Lotus Specialist.

wow, that's like the fastest reply ever!!!
I take it they are forum members.
So do I just PM them or wait for them to see the thread?

I done a window reset on my Zed, but since it was my first time taking anything off the car, I had a little accident.
I managed to snap off a little bit from the door trim that holds the little speaker (see red circle in below pic, snapped off the bit that goes into the rubber bit).
Does anybody have a second hand one? Or know where to get a new one from?
Thanks

You'll just have to learn how to park like this then....lol

I use Meguiars Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner on all leather surfaces in my Zed

Anyone can copy a pic of a genuine car!
too true, it pisses me off tho that people try this kinda stuff over and over again.
-
Checked on DVLA webbie and the reg seems legit, but as for any other details, I reckon scam too.
the only way it can do such nilage is if the owner actually lived in it...and even then he'd have to have been driving whilst asleep...
-
Did my MOT and oilchange today (oilchange was gonna happen either way due to me just having bought the car and it's a given to do it)
Dunno what the previous owner was using, but after putting in Castrol Magnatec 5-30 Fully Synthetic, the car seems to feel alot better, smoother revs and nicer idle, even moving off from standstill seems easier (could be in my mind tho)
-
They'll prolly compensate for that tho and mention it also comes with a Nismo sticker Kit that adds another 150bhp....
-
Thx for the lovely comments
BTW, the one of the left could do with some Turbo Wax magic. (Unless it's the light playing tricks).
Yeah, it is indeed a trick of the light, there was direct sunlight coming from the left, thus causing my mates headlights to look a lil duller than mine.

afaik, JDM Performance are selling the OEM gearknob for a little over £100 (I checked at local Nissan dealer and they sell them for £195, and yes, I nearly fainted on the spot)
JDM Performance also sell the Nismo Titanium one for £74 http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_de ... odID=59399

Beautiful is all I can say.
Nice industrial setting too.
-
Personally, I find that Zeds turn more heads than RX8s do.
And thats not a bad thing in my book
-
£15K for that?!?!?
it's a JDM '03...
Mind you, I reckon the previous owner must have hated the kit, because it's at a Crash Repair Centre (sign in background of 1st pic), so he tried killing teh uglyness once already....
Silly little mod

I think Jay should redo the whole lot in House Of Kolor Brandy Red...
