The other thing with USA is you may get stung for import duty
It might help if you can e-mail the seller in the US (when buying of eBay) and ask them to either send the goods as a gift and/or mark the parcel value as no more than $50, that way you don't need to pay any import duty.
Bought my iPhone from the US off eBay and the seller marked the content value as £25 and I didn't pay any import tax on a £300 item (bought my iPhone when they first start hitting eBay in the US)
Also what works is if you have someone that is a student and have it sent to them, as they don't have to pay import duty either.

You can have bacon butties anytime of the day, so says the law (or at least it should)
I don't mind either tbh, but looking at my mate SilentKK8, it will prolly be pm (damn lazy arse)

Darren and myself are gonna get in for free next time, hehe.
I'm sure GTOPete is a man of his word.
Was nice to meet a fellow 350Z forum member, pity the weather had a downturn, would have liked to have met more.
Just a couple of (bad) pics before I went home.
Bad pic No.1 (camera was on wrong settings)
Bad pic No.2 (Got settings right, operator useless tho)
and finally a bad pic showing how many showed up
Whilst driving away from Brands, I was behind a blue R33, who was only more than willing to show me how to drift on roundabouts. I think him and his mate in a 200SX took the first exit the round about before the one that leads you to the M25.
On the Roundabout that took me to the M25, I stopped at a set of lights, three lanes.
I was in the left lane behind a car and saw a Scooby pull up to the lights in the centre lane and an Evo next to him in the right lane. Lights are red, Scooby revs up, Evo responds in kind.
Once the lights went green they floored it, but what they didn't notice was the police car that had pulled up behind the Evo.
Immediately the blues come on and he gives chase up the slip road.
They must have been lucky tho, because onceI had joined the traffic from the slip road, I still saw the blues going in the distance, thinking they done a runner, but to my suprise I saw the Scooby and the Evo just cruising along, guess the coppers had bigger fish to fry. Lucky escape I say.

Well, it certainly didn't stop people turning up tho.
There was us two, then a bunch of MR2s showed up, followed by a couple of R33's and 200SX's.
Also some Civic Type Rs and Integras.

I'm down at Brands with Darren. It's been called off due to snow fall

Right, leaving house now, see y'all there.
Gonna take a nice and easy drive down...

Maybe he's still test driving it.....

I won't repeat the old "WENDY" Jamaican joke
A young man truly in love with his girlfriend decided to have her name tattooed on his penis, her name was Wendy, and the tattoo was done while the penis was erect, so when it was not erect all you could see was W Y. Shortly after the couple was married and they were honeymooning in Jamaica, the man was in a bathroom in Jamaica, and standing next to him was a Jamaican man who also had a W Y on his penis.
The American said to him "Oh is your girl named Wendy too?"
The Jamaican replied, "No, Mon that says, 'Welcome To Jamaica Have a Nice Day'".

I think I'll be setting off early, because I think the M25 may be a little full during that time.
should make it to Brands at 6:30pm tho
-
Great thanks to ZMANALEX, part arrived today at 12pm.
Next time could you use a little more bubblewrap please?
It's great cos I can swap out the broken part in time for the meet in Brands Hatch tonight
-
sounds a good idea imo

It's the other twin!!!!!
Dunno why you bother hiding your numberplate, it was exposed awhile back when I posted the pics of our cars together, rofl
...so my mate and I thought we'd take some pics.Don't worry tho, you can only get numberplates made if you have the V5 document and proof of ID

I reckon the holes are for lockwire, mainly used in racing

Mind you, Angelina Jolie has coordinates of all her adopted chidrens origins tatooed on her arm...

They must have switched the Fairlady badge to a 350Z one then...

Thanks Gixxer for the info.
Just looked on EnvyValetings own site and saw they sell SSF for £13.50 per 5ltr.
I think they offer discount for us from the forum too, right?
-
Well I was thinking of possibly purchasing that foam lance (pic in my post sbove) and a 5ltr canister of AutoGlym Pressurewasher Shampoo.
Just wanted to know if it would gimme decent thick foam.
Thanks
get some super snow foam it will dwell longer and give better results
especially good in this weather to get rid of road salt etc with creating swirls by dragging it across your paint
AH! So does that basically remove the need of ever using a sponge/washmitt ever again?
Where can I buy the Super Snow Foam from?
Anybody on here?

Well, seeing as it's the first meet of this kind in Brands, I suppose there will be a learning curve.
Maybe for next time, if numbers are large, then there may be a chance of letting clubs/communities to park together.
Currently drinking lots of Lemsip and sucking on strepsils, just about within allowed limits. First night shift was spent mostly in the pouring rain that didn't help.
Feeling much better and hoping that I won't have to miss out on this.
Should I not feel well enough I will post on here by no later than 3pm.
Looking forward to tomorrow already.
-
oh right, sorry for that.
Last time I was at Brands was when Carl Fogarty was still riding a Ducati in the WSB.
-
So it's now meeting INSIDE the gate, NOT at the blue building anymore.
I just don't wanna turn up somewhere and find out I'm supposed to be somewhere completly different.
Thanks

I think its gay to have a pattern thats fashionable at the time - aka Chinese writing/tribal bands.
You should have seen the amount of people that came to the chinese take away I used to work in, asking for names and such in chinese symbols.
Personally I wouldn't want a tattoo that I don't 100% know what it means.
One of my evil minded friends had such a customer in his restaurant, who wanted "Good Fortune" and "Great Wealth" tattooed in chinese symbols, but to his disadvantage, he was a rather annoying and rude customer.
So taking advantage of this, they told him these things.
Weeks later he came back and showed them off, the kitchen staff couldn't help but be very very amused.
Basically what they had told him in chinese was the following
"Gung Hei Fat Choi"
Which is a saying in chinese most commonly used during the new year period and translates as "Happy prosperous New Year".
He was never told what the true meaning was.

On the topic of foam, sorry for the hijack, I got a Karcher pressure washer and have seen a foam lance attachment for sale at the local Halfords for £15.
Now what do I do to use it properly?
Do I need to dilute the soap or just fill up the canister attched to the lance with the soap?
Also, like breay, I would like to know what product would be best to use to achive a full rich thick foam, that dwells really nicely.
I would appreciate comments and advice by the pro valeters on here.
Thanks

I do have to say, that exhaust polished up a treat.
Great job!
