  1. Well, I used my own old formula and just grind it out with a AE86 first, then bought the 350Z. Since then I have bought in order of purchase R34 GT-R (now Works converted) 370Z (Fully Upgraded) S15 (Works Converted) R35 GT-R V-Spec (Fully Upgraded) Ford GT500 (Works Converted)
  2. I think ZMANALEX or R35LEE should be your first ports of call
  3. My local MOT testers always ask if the vehicle being tested has LSD of not, if it has, then road brake test it is, only non-LSD vehicles should be on the rolling brake tester.
  4. They don't call me the snake for no reason You gonna call Raccoon up for a full car wrap in snake skin effect?
  5. It was a ferrari experience at silverstone. nothing in depth....but the guy was great and as i was advanced comparing to the others he did tell me lots of things....i wouldnt say i am a race driver now tho.... But wouldn't it be correct to hazard a guess that the Ferrari experience is more bespoke to the machinery used? If the Ferraris have carbon ceramics fitted and you then try to use the same braking techniques on the Zed, then I'm sure no matter what discs and pads you use will wear out pretty fast...
  6. What's going in it's place may I ask? I'm only wondering because you've only had the bonnet 5 mins...
  7. Have you tried Dixcel discs? In particular the DAV versions with added cooling vents on the hubs? Dixcel also do matched carbon pads. These are discs and pads used in the japanese touring car series, so might just be able to stand up to your aggressive driving style. I have the Dixcel slotted front discs and stopping power is great. Contact Dixon at DMS for info and prices.
  8. You shouldn#t be disappointed, I'm certainly not
  9. More like they had a hunch Mark migt be buying one and joining their forum with spam in tow...
  10. You need to change your sig mate......YOU ARE ZEDLESS!!!
  11. You saw them when i picked em up BM :S They are Ultralite GTII finished in the silver colour. I will be putting them up for sale, with the o-rings, bolts and a set of locking nuts once im happy with the refurb on my old wheels. Hoping to get about £750-800 for them to try and get some of my money back. There lovely wheels its just i like my old ones and im very fussy lol I must have totally missed it when it happened, lol (Or my old age is starting to catch up on me...) Hmmm.....20"'s om the back and 19"'s on the front....
  12. I bought mine with Falken452's and yes I paid £500+ for my tyres. I do not know if anybody has run Avon tyres on the Zed before, but if they are a budget tyre, then caution may be advised. Like I said before, tyres are the only thing between your car and the road, so you wouldn't want to see the car going off into a ditch for the sake of tyres that cost a little more. Depends on the perspective one takes, pay less now and possibly pay loads later, or pay more now and hopefully pay nothing extra later...
  13. Yes, local highways authority is your best shot at getting repairs paid for. As mentioned, do not talk to them until you've taken lots of pictures of the pothole and the approach to it and the damage to your car. Locally, a woman had an incident with a pothole and the LHA paid out as they couldn't deny nor ignore the issue due to it being in the local newspaper.
  14. Oh...out of interest, and I may have missed it earlier in the thread.....what were the new set of 20"'s that you bought before you refurbed the Ascarii's? Any Pics of those?
  15. ooops, my bad for assuming Sandy being more associated with females. What are the Avons priced at? Remember that the rubber is the only thing between your car and the road, so choose wisely...
  16. Give her a chance, she ain't bought them yet.... ...but for impatient Sarnie (who also lacks any Google skills )
  17. If your a "dry biker" then you'll only have the "pleasure" during the summer months. If you are a "year round" biker, then I cannot really put "pleasure" and "riding in torrential rain" together I'm afraid....
  18. I got 19x10.5 on the rear and run 275/35 tyres with no problems.
  19. Yes, you do... http://www.z-store.co.uk/index.cfm?fuse ... rentCat=17
  20. It says where to send it on the logbook....
  21. I think white dials with black markings would have been nice.....swap them now Husky!
  22. I saw a great wing made from aircraft aluminium.......might be a touch too wide tho...
  23. Confirmed
  24. Looks like he pi**ed off Darth Vader and he got his lightsaber out...
  25. The whole thing about him saying the stuff about sticking just before the "film" is usually what hypnotists say before they put you under. Well, I happened to catch a hypnotists act on hols and it sounded very similar, and even then, the hypnotist said, if there is the tiniest doubt in your mind that it won't work, then it just won't work.
