  1. Damn! Thats kind of what I was thinking, for some reason can't get a Z on the old style plates and the new ones aren't so easy to play with. Gonna be sweet plate out back end of 2010 will be possible to get PB50ZED (or any other front letter) with a little (and slightly illegal) creativity the B becomes a 3 and would be awesome on a new ZED. Just have to wait 18 months and find £30k+ for a new Zed, easy!
  2. What are peoples thoughts on a number plate such as P2 XED as you read it sounds like ZED or am I clutching at straws?
  3. Thanks for the quick replies guys, the tein ones from CS are about £100 whereas the ones on ebay are about £50, I'm inherrantly a cheapskate but don't want to be disappointed, anyone got any experience with the cheaper option?
  4. CS I can't find your shop am I being useless? Can I have a link please?
  5. Hi all, I like the idea of fitting hydraulic arms to the bonnet such as http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350Z-Infin ... 240%3A1318 Does anyone already have them fitted, if so can you recommend some as I'm always sceptical of things from ebay, especially as this one is from the yanks! While your at it any other recommended cheapish mods, I already have a stubby aerial and Z badges? Cheers
  6. Don't worry found it now, it has an in line fuse which is tucked nice and conveniently behind the radio head unit, of course!

  9. I have just short circuited my sat nav (trying to hijack the power for an mp3 unit) and can't find a fuse for it, any ideas? Thanks in adavnce.
  10. I'm a chartered accountant/auditor, now thats an exciting job !! Pay isn't bad though
  11. I prefer yesterday's effort, real ones always look better (until they hit 30 anyway ) Still very nice indeed!
  12. What a great idea, honestly can't believe I didn't think about it, far too naive! According to wikipedia she's all natural too, very nice!! An interesting video of her bathing in milk too, made me smile
  13. Bit out of proportion? You all seemed pretty happy with Keely yesterday, surely, pot, kettle, black? I want to know is how do they stay in such good shape with a top end like that, certianly can't go running
  14. I've not seen 'that video' but sounds like its could be worth a google effort!
  15. Hello all, Just had a service and been advised that need new pads all round, seen a lot of threads of you guys saying you've changed your own, following a service, MOT and 4 new tyres like the idea of doing it on the cheap. I'm not great with cars but would get help fron my Dad who is pretty handy, is there much to it, could a novice manage? After all its a pretty inportant job! Managed to change the pads on my MGF a few years ago. Thanks.
  16. At the risk of letting out a nasty secret, I'm a Chartered Accountant, if you have any queries or problems let me know and I might be able to help. Tax isn't my speciality but I still know a thing or two. Also as a tip my local tax office is really good, you can literally go in and see them and they will talk you though how to fill out your TR, obviously this only really works if you have relatively basic affairs. Might be worth trying yours. All the best.
  17. I've just put on Bridgestones RE040's all round, they seem brilliant! Also paid £510 fitted, balanced etc which seemed very good. Maybe its just compared to what I had before (worn Bridgestone's up front and very worn Milleniums (never heard of them) on the back) but they seem great and no problems in the wet the last few days. I think so long as you are sensible (well most of the time!) they are fine, also manage to slide it round the corners you just need to be aware of what the car and you can do. These are what Nissan recommend so can't be that bad can they? After all they did put together a pretty sweet car!
  18. Ok recommnedation seems to be satin finish, can't argue with the experts. Thanks again.
  19. Sorry been away with work for a while not had much chance to think about my z, glad to be back though! Think its got to be the Z badges they look great! Checked out the guys website and there are three types 2 chrome one and a satin one, any recommendations? Also anyone who has these already are they easy to fit? Can one of the mods or admin people please let me have the all important vouvher code? Thanks a million.

  23. Just a thought but is there an idiots guide to using the forum anywhere? For example most of you have fancy pictures and details of your cars at the end of your posts - how would I go about adding something like that. Sure there will be many more things that crop up as I start to use the forum more. Thought it would be a useful thing if anyone has the time/inclination to put one together.
