  1. right, time to do some nr crunching I'll have them if you don't want them Think It'll end up a bit more then I orginally counted... (typicall) They have two sets though would you be interested in the other? (PM for more details)
  2. Can people post up photos of where they mount these babies? I've tried two places in the rear so far one was not so succesfull (back tip of the device under the rear number plate) and then used a slingshot around the reg plate (in case it tried to fall off this would stop me loosing it) used two velcro tags one on the device and the other on the body panel. Video - nice tarmac photos Sound - PERFECT sound since it was hidden away from WIND noise. Second attempt I used the rear wiper to mount the camera with some turbo glue and the base of a cable tie. (see photo) Video came out nicely but the sound was / is crappy due to the wind noise (thinking that I'll hide the mic hole with some cotton / sock to help with the noise from the wind) Had a look at the front and think I could use the mesh that I installed with a cable tie, should work nicely there but wind noise will destroy the sound yet again... also looked at plonking one straight on the roof (might not do the latter) had a look at the side mirrors and between the mirror and the car door looks pretty suitable for a mount... So guys where and HOW do you mount yours? For inside the car I'll be using a 7£ universal mobile mount and my HTC Desire, the vids come out great and so does the sound Found out another issue if you let the sd card get full (which I did) it does not have enough space to sort out the index file properly and thus corrupting the AVI file. Can't copy it off the card and can't repair it onto the card either (since its full) Currently trying to fix it with VLC which works to play it but not to copy it accross from the SD card to the lappie. Trying to stream copy it now to the root drive Photo: The cable tie end works great to push up the camera for a better angle, will post an example vid later.

  5. any idea of cost? Have you won the lottery then I seem to recall about £3k for all four wheels, without tyres. It was a member in Belgium who has done the swop but can't find the thread now but guess he did it when the Euro was strong........ hmmm so getting this for <1k€+shipping is pretty good then (with tyres)
  6. folding mirrors? its imported? Mine's got folding mirrors - and its UK GT
  7. Yeah, could be more than a weekend I reckon First thing is to take down the ceiling and redo all the pipework/tanks/ball valves etc and insulation in the roof..... Watch this space You'd be better off going FI on the car and rebuild the engine.... Probably cost less to go FI as well
  8. Hey How much would GT wheels from a 370 retail for with rubber? (guess please) Would they fit straight onto the 350Z? (would I need some spacers to make it look coooool?) ■F: 9J × 5 PCD114.3 holes offset +47 2 19 ■R: 10J × 5 PCD114.3 two holes offset +30 19 Bridgestone tires RE050A ■F: 245/40R19 2 ■R: 275/35R19 2 A

  10. The two first photos represents him trying to get up to park... not showing how low it is on flat surface... there are other pictures further down showing that...
  11. Can you make a guide and put it up in the guide section I'd love a pump!
  12. Welcome! I'm in Ireland, whereabouts are you based? Can help you change the pads if you get some... what type of driving are you planning on doing? As the others stated I'd talk to one of the traders on here. You're not driving around in an Azure Z with black wheels, normally park Dublin centre?
  13. Time to go with that spring to an engineer place and ask for a harder one
  14. Calm down Anders ........... calm down Hugh...at your age you should know when to just rest your case
  15. Calm down Anders ........... calm down
  16. no they don't recommend it ... could get on the braking surfaces ITO and yes I can understand that shims will increase insulation and therefore reduce heat transfer but as you say, this is built into EBC pads and so I don't see how this can be classed as a shim, surely it's more a well designed brake pad ? get in the chat now, tired of the threads...
  17. Well even for heat I'd get them... btw, don't even think they put grease behind there either... which is common practice replacing pads...
  18. how does it stop squealing on an active piston ? could stop vibration while coming to a stop... A - SHIM NEEDED - 60% of brake noise problems are solved by the addition of a rubber/steel/rubber shim on the reverse of the pad known as a noise reduction shim. Since 2006 all EBC Greenstuff, Redstuff and Yellowstuff pads have been manufactured with shims. Read more here: http://www.ebcbrakes.com/troubleshooting.shtml so why aren't they OEM on Brembos ?
  19. thats a nice way of remembrance.
  20. Might be worth getting some air filters over to you and see what you find with your mapping skills
