Well i had the pleasure of putting both the auto and manual 370z's through its paces yesterday, and have to say i love the tiptronic box. Its good to see that its now an option on UK cars, as i would of bought an auto 350z had it not been for the fact they were only available on the imports, which i didn't want. As for the arguement that its a sports car and you should have manual, well all the high end super cars come with autos so i don't see the problem.

You are right, the zed was up for sale. Work has been non existent for quite a while now and the car had to go unfortunately. Hopefully next year things will be back to normal, and i'll be on the look out for another zed.

Oh dear thats a bummer, mine did the same as well not long after i bought it. Sounded great though I have a back box for sale if interested but it has been altered and now has twin pipes either side. If you need some help feel free to give me a shout, i've done it before and know whats involved. A good socket set and torque wrench are well worth having

Right, just a little update. Sold the EBC brake discs to nrenz123 tonight. Very nice chap and a pleasure to do business with. Pity i couldn't spend some time drooling over his car as it looked very nice. Loved the rear LED's deffo the way to go on the older models, and when he drove away that exhaust sounded the dogs danglies, what exhaust is that Nath? Just need to sell the Brembo calipers now, any takers?

Bennet has the GT4 296bhp and he also has the mrev2 lower collector fitted. That would make another good comparison if Abbey did the tune up on it. If it made good gains then i can see more mrev2's being sold, and spacers, as that improves it again.

I've had no problems with Kwik fit near me in Bridgend. Regularly had my Zeds oil changed there as it only cost £39, and mot'd my banger there once, which passed no problem. Depends on the staff i suppose. I take my cars to R J Davies in Pontypridd, (not far from Pontypandy were Fireman Sam lives ) for my MOT's as they are very reasonable, and will even fit you in out of hours, even on a sunday

Steve, from another Steve who upgraded from a type R to the Z. All i can say is you wont regret it. The sound of the meaty V6 is a refreshing change from the scream of the vtec. As long as you don't do high mileage and stick to this forum, running costs will be good.
