Well, if you have a lip of 2mm or more or they are badly scored, cracked or warped, then the discs will need replacing. I think i have the cheapest EBC discs for sale, right at this moment, at £300 for front and rear. Again easy to replace yourself. It sounds like its just your pads that need replacing, so see one of the traders on here for a good quote

£300 seems very cheap to supply and fit unless thats just the pads and not the discs as well. You can pick up some Ferodo DS2500 pads to do all 4 corners for around £175 and are a doddle to fit yourself.

Here's a pic of the fujitsubo on my old Z. Apparently its back on the road (after its cat c smash)from what i can gather. Don't know what happened to the exhaust and HKS cats on it, maybe they stayed on.

Have you done it? My mrs went out this morning thinking it was 9am when in fact it was 8am. Hi all, i put my name down for this when i had my zed, but now its gone i'm still hoping to turn up as a passenger in one. Unfortunately Ian is taking his mate otherwise i could of jumped in with him, and i don't think Bennet is going If anyone is going from the South Wales area preferably, or anywhere along the M4 corridor, get in touch please I'm more than willing to share the cost of fuel and i'll travel to you if i'm in the wrong direction. Obviously no point travelling to far as i just as well drive straight there. I may bring a few zed bits along with me if anyone's interested for viewing and potential purchasing. The handbrake shoes in the brake drum may need replacing. Otherwise did you check the inside pads on the calipers?

Rule out a white one if you want a uk car, unless its been resprayed. Only the later my07 cars and the imports came in white

The samco wouldn't need to be mounted if it was connected to the standard air box.
