Its because as per usual a public body hasnt got a clue what they are doing, and the people in charge of the vehicle excise duty have even less of a clue about cars. They have made either a **** up on the emissions or the first date of registration which is what dictates how much you pay.

I dont think that a change of style is possible unfortunately. The design has been limited to the options of brushed or polished only in order to keep costs down. Once we start adding more variables to each individual panel, the cost would start to go up as the operator would then be having to spend more time setting the jobs up before cutting. Hopefully once announced Im sure people will be remarkably impressed with the price compared to the same items available from other brand names.

I think its set at minimum 12 by the looks of it. Maybe Im just getting older.

I can fully appreciate the severe annoyance this will cause, but I posted to prevent the thread from going down a route whch would have seen it locked, as it needs to stay open so this can be resolved. My personal opinion is that the sender is responsible for getting the goods to you. If you do not receive the goods, the sender should refund you. The seller is then free to take up the case with whomever he had courier the goods.

There is nothing unreasonable about wanting to buy something. Please lets not allow this thread to descend into thinly vieled threats etc as it is unlikely to receive a reasonable response from the other party. However it could serve as a heads up to buyers in future to request that items are sent recorded delivery to prvent this situation of deciding whom should be out of pocket arising.

It is the posters responsibility to ensure all reasonable measures are taken to ensure the item is delivered to the recipient. I do not think you are being unreasonable in asking for monies back for non delivery of items. Why anyone would send goods worth £150 through Royal Mail (or any delivery service for that matter) without ensuring they are sent recorded delivery is mind boggling.

Same as the other shows - Once we have confirmed numbers, we will order as the club, then depending on arrival time of the tickets with ourselves, we will either post these out to the individuals or hand to people on the day prior to entry to the show.

Thought Id give this a bump - show season is now upon us, and to avoid disapointment, people should get their names down. We will be discounting tickets wherever possible, but the funds are not bottomless. There will be a limit to the number of discounted and free tickets available, and with now over 5000 members on the site and many more active posters joining each day, there will inevitably be some shows where the attendees outnumber the free or discounted tickets we have available. I would advise people get their names in for these shows - but please dont just add your name if you arent at least wishing to attend these - carpet bagging free tickets isn't the intention of this post... So come along and meet up with the largest 350/370z community in the UK

I think its worth putting this to the organisers, as I believe Rob has booked for 11 cars, if we have more turn up on the day it could be a squeze on the stand (as they allocate stand space based on bookings). I doubt there would be a problem in the organisers allowing you on the stand, but its whether there will physically be room? If we notify the organisers that two or three more booked outside of our club booking form then they may be able to re-jiggle the plots. They have the entry fee which is what counts, so I dont forsee any real problem. Will ask Rob..
