brillomaster Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 yeah its an uber slippery slick surface, the cars get absolutely filthy! Quote
StevoD Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 you wanna try playing at Norfolk arena when it rains haha 1 Quote
Nutter Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Due to being a wetted track I've never been interested in Oulton. From what I hear Norfolk is bad when wet so is Birmingham wheels. Norfolk is concrete init? Which would explain it as Birmingham is conc too. Teesside considering the track that it is again slippery when wet! Tom Quote
Ekona Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) Why is a wetted track bad? Genuine question, I'm not a drifter so have no idea. Edited July 2, 2015 by Ekona Quote
StevoD Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) Why is a wetted track bad? Genuine question, I'm not a drifter so have no idea. its bloody boring, its like driving in snow it takes zero effort to spin the wheels, but also the speeds are much less and no smoke, you can get the back end out and and just use like 10% throttle to keep it out in the dry you have to stay on it vs Edited July 2, 2015 by StevoD Quote
djtimo Posted July 2, 2015 Author Posted July 2, 2015 wet track is for beginners so speed is slower and easier on the car etc.. Great for noobs boring for pros.... Quote

Ekona Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Gotcha, thanks I think I'd be quite happy on a wet day Quote
AliveBoy Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 I hate wet drifting, my right foot is too heavy for it Quote
StevoD Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 I hate wet drifting, my right foot is too heavy for it whats worse is like in the Formula D videos is a wet track drying out, nothing like going flat out in dry hitting damp and sliding off or keeping it it easy in the wet then you get some grip and launch off the other direction your front wheels are pointing haha Quote
