Hiding a bodge job

Recommended Posts

I just turned an easy job into a hard one, I changed the front badge on my 350 and in doing so scuffed all the way around where the bumper is indented. All I had to do was sand off a tiny bit of plastic that was sticking out of the recess and when I stood back I saw I'd scraped the edges of the recess which can be seen around the badge! DOH!

Is there a good way to hide it without getting paint involved?

Could you gently use some tcut on it. The metallic tcut is finer than the normal so would use that. Not too hard and once the scuffs and scratches are smooth give it a polish with the type of polish that has a colour to it. My car is black and the black polish i use is great
