Hello guys,

 

Thought i would start a build thread for my newly acquired 350

 

54 plate with 43 on the clock, standard apart from the head unit.

 

Unsure how far ill go on the mods but all helps i suppose.

Where's the stubby aerial? That's gotta be changed!!!

Also, how did you change the sidelights? I bought some LEDs for mine previously, but they crapped out pretty quickly and I want to get some good new ones. Would like to know the easiest way to get them on too if anyone has advice on that?

I got to mine through the wheel arch line, jack it up to give space and pull back the ache liner.

 

The aerial is on its way, although i was told they are screw? my one pulls off and then has a metal 10m thread in the body. is that normal?

That's strange, mine just screwed off when I changed it... does the metal thread screw off at all?

Should screw off just above the cone base and screw back on. Simples. Quickest mod you will ever do and probably the cheapest..

Without a doubt, but I'd advise getting the RDX stubby from Tarmac because I got one off ebay and it was utterly useless!

i do have one coming from the Bay of E.... only cost me £3.

 

Im not really fussed on radio quality, its more looks i have gone for.

Got the 16gb usb on random, besides, its my second car, ill only use this every now and again...

Haha they all sound like plans except the forced induction, done that before on another car, the time and effort I just don't want to do again ha.

Next step - some wheel spacers maybe? 20mm fronts and 25mm rears?

So i did get the zed on the dyno at modified nationals, more to see and hear her roar.

 

 

The results was 266hp at the fly with 259 lb/ft

So got some myself some Rays will need refurb but i'm happy
