fairladyzed Posted April 9, 2015 Share Posted April 9, 2015 I bought my Zed already modified. It had exhaust, induction, coilovers, speed defender, bodykit and wheels. My question is, is there any way to check/tell if it has had an uprev remap already done to it. Since owning the car i have added a plenum spacer and voltage stabilizer. GMballistic Posted April 9, 2015 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Have you checked all the history (receipts) with the car to see if there is anything from one of the UpRev tuners such as Horsham Developments or Abbey Motorsport? Any dyno sheet with your cars paper work? If you've added a plenum spacer then to get the benefits from that you'll really need an UpRev anyway. Ken Posted April 9, 2015 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Does the Fairlady zed get more than 1 map, if so how do you change the map setting as i don't think it has cruise control. If someone knows how to change map setting on a Fairlady you could try this, a light should flash on the dash when changed. This would indicate if it has been maped.
