2008 HR Clutch Questions

Hi all

Quick question regarding my clutch. The pedal has recently been a lot higher than before, but no clutch slip or judder whatsoever. I've done the low speed/high gear tests etc and it is fine.

Has anyone with a HR had a similar issue before their clutch failing/slipping? Is it something to worry about as I am aware a new clutch/flywheel etc is pricey on a HR 350z.

Thanks in advance

My clutch pedal stuck to the floor constantly during a track day at Castle Combe in August last year, after so many laps it would just boil up and stay grounded. I would pull into the paddock and wait for it to cool down and return to normal. I am assuming it was old fluid, replaced it with some rf600 so hopefully it won't happen next time.

If their genuine a right bargain so might be worth contacting them for your model

and if your concerned about LUK

If the make of the clutch is unknown then ask them for a branded one with the LUK DMF

The eBay listing posted is for a DE and not HR

I went to overtake a car and had my foot down hard and the clutch pedal fell to the floor and there was a burnt coffee smell. but after about 50 seconds it went back to normal. It happened to me a few times when going to overtake hard so got almost all my money back from the dealer I bought it from.
