jayrishi Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Hi guys, Looking to get k&n intake fitted. Anyone had one installed? Is it worth it and does it make a difference or is there better brands out there. Also where would be the best place to buy from. Quote

Jdm owner Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 I've got a K&N typhoon fitted nice noise, however I ain't heard a pop charger or the other variants so couldn't say which is the best. You do get a nice carbon heat shield though Quote
philw99 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 (edited) K&N isn't worth the money i'd say! Build quality isn't great, you'd be better with something else. Upset me it bolts to the back of the toe eye, doesn't fit great so had to make a modification to that also weight, why does it have to be so heavy? Flip side does sound amazing Edited January 15, 2015 by philw99 Quote
Kaveney Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Love my one for the noise and look but will lose power over the stock set up I was told . Quote
martybhoy Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 i'm currently tempted to get an aftermarket intake but im looking towards a popcharger. Quote
jayrishi Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 Has anyone had a pop charger fitted? Quote
Zedd Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 i'm currently tempted to get an aftermarket intake but im looking towards a popcharger. Ive got a popcharger, they sound awesome. People say you lose power, but tbh have not felt any difference apart from the noise! Quote
Rock_Steady Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Try the search on the top right on the main page. This has been covered as often as a mattress. Loads of info on it. 1 Quote
