Kennydies Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Ok, I was bored and surfing on ebay (dangerous I know) and came across some hydraulic stays for the bonnet. Was only £40 from Thaiwan so was not expecting a lot. They were delivered today and although the instructions were not that great they were still installed in about 10minutes. Am quite impressed by them lift the bonnet about 5cm and the bonnet rises the rest... Quote
Ian Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 I got these from Big Phil a few weeks ago. Were only £21 Quote
Kennydies Posted October 8, 2007 Author Posted October 8, 2007 They look very similar, now you tell me the price :-) Quote

H5 Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Can recommend the strut brace, I have one waiting to go on, great quality item....... Sorry to pester, any joy on the bolts Phil..???! Can firmly recommend the struts as well, and a bargain for the money. How much for the carbon slam panel / engine cover? Quote
bigphil Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Rob the bolts should be sorted by next week, have had to have them cut as they are a strange pitch which no one stocks in stainless. Quote
H5 Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Rob the bolts should be sorted by next week, have had to have them cut as they are a strange pitch which no one stocks in stainless. Sorry! Guys, it might be worth checking what size the bolts are that hold your strut brace on. Phil and I stumbled across the fact they clearly used different ones at certain times. If you're wanting shiny bolts to put it on with, it will save time. Thanks for your persistence Phil. Quote
