Side Light Bulbs

Hi Peeps,

 

So i havre been given some LED sidelights for the Zed,

 

Please tell me theres an easy way to install these other than having to take wheel off and going through arch!

 

im crying here!

I changed mine the other day just by putting it full lock...

 

Took about 15 mins and I am NOT technically minded. lol.

Oh yeah, good point, no need for wheel off, if full lock don't work, just jack it up so the wheel is out of the way enough to peel the arch liner

Jack the car so that the wheel is off the ground, take push rivets out and 1 screw that holds liner to the wing, then the liner will peel out just enough to get access to the sidelight.

Got Abbey to change mine when they did the uprev & P1

Its not necessary to take the wheel off but would be easier. Id try doing it on full lock first and see if you can manage it. I didn't bother taking the wheel off, its fiddly though.

slide a credit card under it and pull it out. no need to touch the wheels

I still cant believe how awkward it is for a simple bulb change.

 

Almost makes the halfrauds fitting worth incase you decide to smash the bulb against something when squeezing it in the space.
