White big connector going to what? (driver side)

Hi guys,

I just got a disassembled 350z (newly painted) and I´m putting it together.

However I have this pretty big connector under the steering wheel by the pedals, do you know what should be there?

My power windows and central locking isn´t working and airbag light is flashing so I guess it could be something for these functions that I´m missing, like a module of some sort?

I can tell you its nothing to do with the sound system, steering wheel controls or air con unit. Other than that.....not a clue

Thanks, all those things are working so I´m thinking it might be something with power windows or locks... anyone?

Nissan here has no idea, he ordered the schematics for the car and will contact me when he gets it.. :S

Not the code reader port.

It's the connector that goes to the door jam and then the door wiring loom plugs into that.

I only know because I ran new speaker wires to my door speakers and had to go through this.

Hope you have small hands or willing wife/child to help you as it really is a snug fit

Yes I don´t think it´s the diagnostic since the diag is to the right side close to your right knee when driving? Your explanation sounds about right since the buttons for door window operation and central locking isn´t working and the car has been repainted (disassembled).

I will look deeper into this when I have a garage space and light / heat :-)
